재학생의 학업지속을 위한 사이버대학 교육의 질 제고 방안 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 사이버대학 교육의 질 제고 방안을 모색하기 위해 재학생들의 특성, 학업중단 위기 등을 살펴보고, 분산분석, 다중회귀분석을 실시하여 사이버 대학 재학생들의 학업지속 의향을 중심으로 이에 영향을 미치는 요인을 분석하였다. 분산분석 결과, 전공강의만족도와 교양강의만족도에서 학년별 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났고, 학업지속의향과 교수와의 면담에서는 연령대별 집단에 따른 차이를 보였다. 다중회귀분석 결과, 자기주도학습능력이 사이버대학생의 학업지속 의향에 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 교수와의 면담정도, 인프라만족도, 교양강의 만족도의 순으로 학업지속 의향에 영향을 미쳤다. 이상의 연구결과를 바탕으로 사이버대학 재학생들의 중도탈락을 낮추고 학업지속을 높이기 위한 교육 질 제고 방안을 제언하였다.

영문 초록

This study analyzed the relationship between the Academic Persistence Intention and influencing factors of cyber university students. In order to improve the quality of cyber university education, the characteristics of enrolled students and the risk of academic interruption were examined, ANOVA and Multiple Regression were conducted. As a result of ANOVA, it was found that there was a difference between grades in major lecture satisfaction and liberal arts lecture satisfaction, and there were differences according to age groups in academic persistence intentions and interviews with professors. As a result of Multiple Regression, it was found that self-directed learning ability had the greatest effect on the academic persistence intentions. In addition, the degree of interview with the professor, satisfaction with infrastructure, and satisfaction with liberal arts lectures influenced the academic persistence intentions. Based on the above research results, a plan to improve the quality of education was suggested to reduce dropout of cyber college students and improve academic persistence.
