영문 초록

It is able to conclude as follows the characters of 3·1 independence movement on Pocheon area. First of all, It was propelled independently without close relationship with the center. Like Cheondo-kyo, Christianity and Buddhism etc. Not only was it disconnect the religious world but student group. Kaeseong or Suwon etc. part region of Kyonggi-Do are different what 3·1independence movement was prepared from constant relationship with these influence and it was developed. Because like that 3·1independence movement being attempted initially from Pocheon after the first revolt occurs from Seoul, about 10th day is last March 13th, and besides, when the masses hurrah demonstration is developed later March 24th, it was. Also, it is thought that It does not adopt the nonviolence cause of peace method which is their demonstration strategy because is estranging from 3·1 independence movement propulsion influences of the center. Second, the propulsion subject of Pocheon 3·1 independence movement were not the minister, religion, the teacher, the student etc. new intellectual layer, they were a private school decoration, a head of village, a farmer and a merchant etc. feudal knowledge layer and a populace layer. As well the center, Kaeseong or Suwon etc. is difference of different region. These hurrah demonstration method was, therefore, righteous army method.
