‘4·3’의 公的 인식 및 서술의 변천

영문 초록

The incident that happen on April 3, 1948 was reported in term of riot, armed uprising etc. Populaces called this event whole as name of ‘4·3’. US Armed Forces recognized attack of commando group as “Mobs’ general election reverse riot” April 3. Cognition of newspaper appeared to differ at process that commando group and US Armed Forces are opposed extremely. Newspaper account to see ‘4·3’ in neutral standpoint increased from June, 1948 onward. At that time, reporters who came in Chejudo were recognizing 4·3 very differently with US Armed Forces and the police. Now, ‘4.3 incident’ term was appraised in general event name. But, government of the Republic of Korea recognized 4·3 to rebellion after foundation of a country on August 15, 1948. 4·3 cognitions returned as ‘incident’ again since 4·19 revolutions in 1960. But, only government’s cognition of 4·3 communicated for 50 years since 5·16, and discussion was prohibited fundamentally. 4·3 was described as “Armed revolt of Communists which get up in Chejudo by North Korea Communists’ instigation” to a history text book. Recognizing about 4·3 was started to democratization movement in June, 1987. ‘Uprising’ cognition brought in student floor and civic society. But, civic society was opposed extremely with government’s cognition as ‘riot’. After 4·3 reports are made out in 2003, public cognition of 4·3 returned to normalcy location. Forward subject is that truth and personality of 4·3 more definitely.
