영문 초록

Joseon was published in 1908 by the Japanese with a view to assimilating the Koreans into the Japanese culture so that the Japanese could advance into Joseon and rule Joseon. The mass media run by the Japanese in Joseon were critical of the supervisory politics for the reason that the policies of the Residency-General were prepared for the Joseon people. They were shown to be opposed to the Residency-General while requiring policies for protecting the benefits of the Japanese in Joseon, who were allegedly contributing to the advance of Joseon, according to them. The assertions for the immigration of the Japanese as well as their ruling Joseon as shown in Joseon were as follows. ① The policies of the Residency-General did not consider the benefits of the Japanese in Joseon. ② They attacked Ito Hirobumi in the discussion over the period and method of consolidation and strongly urged early consolidation. ③ They insisted on the establishment of the Dongyang Cheoksik Corporation, which was necessary for colony management, and severely criticized the poor progress of the business. ④ They perceived the immigration of the Japanese to Joseon as extensively affecting the success of their Imperial country. ⑤ They introduced various guides, statistics, and circumstances concerning Joseon, which were necessary for immigrating to Joseon.
