국문 초록

본 연구는 어머니의 양육행동에 영향을 주는 요인으로서 어머니의 사회자본과 지역사회 양육환경 특성에 관심을 갖고, 이들 변인간의 상호관계 및 영향력을 살펴보고자 한다. 이를 위해 육아정책연구소 10차 한국아동패널에 응답한 1,484명 어머니의 자료를 분석대상으로 선정하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 어머니의 권위적 양육행동은 사회자본으로서 배우자 만족도, 사회적 지원과 정적상관관계가 있었고, 권위주의적 양육행동과 허용적 양육행동은 배우자 만족도 및 사회적 지원과 부적 상관관계가 있었다. 그리고 권위적 양육행동은 지역사회 양육환경 특성으로서 양육환경 적절성, 여가·문화시설 만족도, 교육·의료·복지 시설 만족도와 정적 상관관계가 있었고 권위주의적, 허용적 양육행동은 이들과 부적 상관관계가 있었다. 둘째, 배우자 만족도와 사회적 지원은 어머니의 권위적, 권위주의적, 허용적 양육행동에 유의미한 영향력을 가지고 있었다. 그리고 양육행동 유형에 따라 지역사회 양육환경 특성의 영향력은 다르게 나타났다. 본 연구는 이상의 결과에 근거하여 어머니의 양육행동 지원을 위한 사회자본 형성 지원 방안 및 지역사회 양육환경에 대해 논의하고 제안하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to examine the interrelationships and influences between mothers parenting behavior, social capital, and characteristics of the parenting environment in the community. The data of 1,484 mothers who responded to the 10th Korean Children s Panel were selected for analysis. The research results are as follows. First, mother s authoritative parenting behavior had a positive correlation with spouse satisfaction and social support as social capital, and authoritarian parenting behavior and permissive parenting behavior had a negative correlation with spouse satisfaction and social support. And authoritative parenting behavior was positively correlated with the appropriateness of nursing environment, satisfaction of leisure and cultural facilities, satisfaction of education, medical, and welfare facilities as the characteristics of the nurturing environment of the local community, and authoritarian and permissive parenting behavior had a negative correlation with them. Second, spouse satisfaction and social support had significant influences on the mother s authoritative, authoritarian, and permissive parenting behavior. And according to the types of parenting behavior, the influences the characteristics of the parenting environments in the local community were different. Based on the above results, this study discussed and suggested support plans at the social level to support mothers parenting behavior.
