‘되는’ 문학과 전환기의 상상력

국문 초록

첨단 모바일 기능의 지원으로 작가-독자 간 실시간 접속을 원활하게 할 수 있는 시대다. 상호 열린 대화적 관계가 이뤄지면서 일인칭 서사들은 최근 더욱 다양해지고 있다. 뿐만 아니라, 특정 장르의 서사가 다른 매체로 이동하면서 새로운 생성물을 생산하기도 한다. 이때 누군가의 사생활 공개가 매우 투명하게 이뤄질 수 있다. 미디어가 투명하게 이동하는 만큼, 사용자의 사생활과 존엄도 치명적으로 훼손된다. 이 논문은, 최근의 오토픽션 표절 시비의 핵심이 사생활 침해 문제와 관련한다는 사실에 착안하였다. 매체와 플랫폼의 다양성을 기반으로 일인칭 서사가 빠르게 확산하는 현상을 이해하기 위해 자전(Auto)의 범주에서 논의를 진행하였다. 먼저, 자전에서 분배된 세부 요소 중 작가가 등장하는 허구를 자전소설로 보고, 해방공간에서부터 해당 작품을 찾아보았다. 나아가 1990년대에 포스트모더니즘이 쇄도하면서 반소설(反小說) 형식의 소설가소설, 그리고 메타픽션이 등장한 경위를 살펴보았다. 2010년대 한국문학 장에서 빠르게 확산하는 일인칭 서사와 오토픽션 장르의 연관성을 심리 차원에서 접근함으로써, 오토픽션이 자전소설의 하위 범주에 있는, 멀티미디어 시대의 변이종이라는 사실과, 자전소설 작가들이 펼친 장르 실험이 특히 역사 전환기에 활발하다는 사실을 확인할 수 있었다.

영문 초록

This is an era where real-time access between writers and readers can be made smoothly with the support of advanced mobile functions. First-person narratives have become more diverse in recent years as mutually open and interactive relations take place. In addition, narratives of certain genres move to different media, producing new products. At this time, the disclosure of someone s private life can be made very transparent. As the media moves with transparency, the user s privacy and dignity are also critically damaged. This paper conceived the fact that the core of the recent autobiographic fiction plagiarism dispute relates to the privacy infringement matter. Discussion was progressed in the category of auto- to understand the rapid spread of first-person narratives based on diversity in media and platforms. First, among the detailed elements distributed in the autobiography, a fiction featuring the writer was regarded as a autobiographical novel, and the corresponding works were searched from the space of liberation. Further, as postmodernism flooded in the 1990s, the paper looked into how anti-fiction novel and Metafiction appeared. Through a psychological approach to the connection between the fast expanding first-person narratives and autobiographic fiction genre in the Korean literature field in the 2010s, it was confirmed that genre experiments conducted by autobiographical novel writers were particularly active during the period of history transition period.
