고등학교 『한국사』 수업의 사료학습

국문 초록

사료학습은 학생들 스스로 역사적 사실에 대한 이해도를 높이고 탐구력과 분석력을 신장시키는 효율적인 학습방법이다. 특히 쟁점이 되는 역사일 경우 가치판단을 스스로 하게끔 유도할 수 있다는 점에서 사료학습을 통한 역사 교육은 선택이 아닌 필수여야 한다. 본 연구는 2015년 개정 교육과정에서 강조하는 역사자료 분석과 해석을 위한 사료학습 방안으로 독도 교육에 대한 수업모형을 제시한 것이다. 그러면서도 독도가 한국 영토임을 강조·반복하는 기존 교육방식에서 벗어나고자 하였다. 최근 일본은 내각관방 영토·주권 대책기획조정실을 설치하여 한국, 중국, 러시아와 갈등을 빚고 있는 영토문제를 국가적 수준에서 교육, 홍보하고 있다. 이들 내각영토실이 제시하는 독도 영유권 주장의 핵심을 정리하였다. 또 사료학습에서 활용할 독도 관련 사료로 『竹島考』, 『隱岐誌』, 『島根縣統計書』 등을 사료학습에 활용할 사료로 제시하였다. 본고에서는 내각영토실에서 제시한 독도 영유권 관련 사료를 비판적으로 분석하여 일본의 영유권 주장의 논리를 역으로 비판할 수 있는 수업모형을 설계하였다. 이러한 수업을 통해 학생들 스스로 역사를 탐구하는 즐거움을 경험하고 적절한 자료를 통해 상대를 설득하는 토론의 기술 또한 성장하기를 기대한다.

영문 초록

The study of historical materials is an effective learning method to enhance students’ understanding levels of historical facts and to improve research power and analytical skills. Especially, the history education through the study of historical materials should be a must not an option in that it can induce students’ value judgment about historical facts at issue. This study presents the model of instruction about the education of Dokdo as a method of the study of historical materials for analysis and interpretation of historical data emphasized in the amended curriculum of 2015. It is also intended to break the existing method that just emphasizes and repeats the fact that Dokdo is Korean territory. Recently, Japan has established the Office of Policy Planning and Coordination on Territory and Sovereignty of Cabinet Secretariat, and summarized the core of their claim to Dokdo’s sovereignty. In addition, they have presented 『Takesimakou(竹島考)』, 『Okisi(隱岐誌)』 and 『Simaneken Tokeishyo(島根縣統計書)』 as Dokdo related historical materials. This study critically analyzes the Dokdo related historical materials they presented and suggests the instruction model to criticize their claim inversely. Through this instruction method, students are expected to experience the enjoyment of historical research by themselves, and to develop their debating skills to persuade others with proper data.
