대학생의 문자 텍스트 작성 능력과 블로그 작성 능력의 상관관계 분석

국문 초록

본 연구는 대학교 1학년 학생들을 대상으로 문자텍스트 작성능력과 블로그 작성능력의 상관관계와 두 개의 능력 사이의 영향관계를 살펴보는데 목적을 두었다. 연구자는 두 개의 능력 사이의 상관관계와 영향관계를 밝히면 지금까지 각각 따로 혹은 문자 중심 글쓰기만 교육하는 현재의 대학 글쓰기 교육에 새로운 문제의식을 제기할 수 있다고 생각했다. 본 연구에서는 문자 쓰기와 복합양식 쓰기 사이의 상관성 탐색을 위한 기초 작업의 하나로 먼저 평가준거를 개발했다. 그리고 서울 소재 A대학의 학생 34명을 문자텍스트와 복합양식 텍스트 작성 능력에 대한 비교 실험을 실시했다. 학생들은 <국가와 개인>이라는 화제를 가지고 1800자~2000자 분량의 글을 작성했다. 이후 블로그 작성 교육을 실시한 후 4주에 걸쳐 같은 주제를 가지고 블로그를 작성하도록 했다. 학생들이 작성한 텍스트와 블로그에 대해 평가자 3인이 앞서 개발한 평가준거에 의해 분석적 평가를 실시했다. 실험의 결과로 나타난 문자 텍스트 작성 능력과 블로그 작성 능력의 pearson 상관계수는 .749였다. 이러한 상관계수는 높은 상관 수준에 해당하므로, 일단 실험의 결과에 의해 문자 텍스트 작성 능력과 블로그 작성 능력의 상관성은 높다고 판단할 수 있다. 단순회귀분석(simple regression analysis)의 결과도 상관성이 높았다. 회귀분석 결과 결정계수 R2는 .561이었다. 이는 문자 텍스트 작성 능력의 평가 결과가 블로그 작성 능력의 평가 결과에 대해 56.1% 설명력을 갖는다는 것을 의미한다. 이 수치는 회귀분석에서 볼 때 일반적으로 높은 정도의 값이므로 문자 텍스트 작성 능력의 평가와 블로그 작성 능력 평가 사이에는 높은 관련성을 갖는다고 할 수 있다. 다음으로 문자텍스트와 블로그의 세부 요소에 대한 상관성을 분석해 보았다. 평가준거에 나타난 세부 항목을 가지고 상관계수를 측정해 보았을 때 <내용 연결도>영역이 가장 높은 .682를 보인 반면, <주제 구현도>영역은 .551 그리고 <내용의 질>영역은 .545로 이보다 낮은 상관성을 보였다. 반면에 <내용 이해도>는 상관관계가 없었다. 그러나 세 영역 모두 .50이 넘는 상관계수 수치를 보인 것은 두 준거의 동일영역 사이에는 통계적으로 충분한 상관성이 있다고 말할 수 있다. 결론적으로 이 실험을 통해 문자텍스트 작성능력과 블로그 작성능력 사이에 충분한 상관관계가 있으며, 이에 대한 세부적인 인지적 영향관계는 차후 세밀한 연구를 통해 밝힐 필요가 있다고 판단하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this research is to analyze correlation between college students writing ability for print text and blogging ability and relationship of two abilities. It was thought that it can be proposed critical mind to the present college writing education, if it can be revealed correlation and relationship of two abilities. It was developed assessment criteria as one part of groundwork for exploration of correlation between writing and multimodal composition. It performed an experiment for comparison with writing ability and multimodal composition ability of 34 Y college students in Seoul. They completed a course in Blogging methods, after they wrote with the topic of Nation and Individual in 1800-2000 words. They made their blog out with same topic in 4 weeks. Three assessor took analytical assessment with criteria about students print text and blog. It is correlation coefficient(.749) which students writing ability for print text and blogging ability. It can be judged that correlation between writing ability for print text and blogging ability is high, because it s correlation coefficient is high level. It is presented that high level of correlation about two abilities. It is coefficient of determination(R2)(.561) of regression analysis. It have power of explanation that the result of assessment writing ability with regard to the result of blogging ability is very high.(56.1%) This figure is generally high level from regression analysis, it can be correlated highly between assessment about writing ability and blogging ability. Then it was analyzed correlation about the particular elements of print text and blog. When it measured coefficient correlation with particular elements of assessment criteria, the degree of content connection(.682) was highest, while the degree of topic realization(.551) and the quality of contents(.545) presented lower than the degree of content connection. But there was no correlation about the degree of content comprehension. It can be judged sufficient correlation between same domain of two criteria statistically through that it was over .50 of all domain s correlation coefficient. In conclusion, it can be judged that it have sufficient correlation between two abilities and it requires that detailed cognitive relationship about two abilities would be revealed by more detailed researches.
