보육교사의 영유아 안전교육과 안전사고 경험 및 안전사고 대처

국문 초록

본 연구는 어린이집 보육교사의 영유아 안전교육과 안전사고 경험 및 안전하고 대처를 살펴보는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 D시와 S시에 소재한 직장어린이집에 재직하고 있는 200명의 보육교사를 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다 수집된 자료는 빈도분석, 일원변량분석(one-way ANOVA), Duncan의 사후검증을 실시하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 첫째 보육교사의 영유아 안전교육은 주 1~2회 이상이 가장 높게 나타났다. 또한 안전사고예방 중 개선이 필요한 시설은 비품, 물품 및 교구가 가장 높게 나타났다. 둘째, 보육교사가 최근 1년 동안 경험한 안전사고는 찰과상, 사고 시간은 자유선택활동시간, 장소는 보육실, 사고 원인은 영유아 일반적인 특성에서 가장 높게 나타났다. 셋째, 근무경력이 높은 보육교사가 1년 미만인 보육교사보다 안전교육과 안전사고 예방활동에 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구 결과는 영유아의 안전사고가 지속적으로 늘어나는 것은 보육현장에서 이론 중심의 안전교육이 현장 사례중심의 안전교육매뉴얼 및 교육이 절실히 요구된다는 것을 시사하고 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to examine the children’s safety education, experience of safety accidents and response to safety accidents of childcare teachers. For this purpose, 200 teachers who work at childcare centers located in D and S cities were surveyed. The collected data were conducted frequency analysis, one-way ANOVA, posterior tests of Duncan. The results of this study showed that the firstly, childcare teacher s safety education for children was the highest at least once or twice a week. Also equipment, supplies and parishments were the highest among safety accident prevention facilities that needed improvement. Second, safety accidents experienced by childcare teachers in the past year were abrasion, accident time was free-choice activity time, place was childcare room, and cause of accidents was highest in the general characteristics children. Third, there were significant differences between teachers with high work experience and teachers with less than year in safety education and safety accident prevention activities. These findings suggest that childrens safety accidents are increase steadily so that on-site case-based safety education manuals and education are urgently needed, not theory-based safety education at child care sites.
