국문 초록

양적 성장의 단계에서 고부가가치를 창출하는 창의적인 경제로 나아가는 국내의 의류산업은 최근 다소의 정체를 보이고 있다. 독창성과 예술성, 상품성에서 인정을 받고 있는 이세이 미야케의 디자인 방식에 대한 분석은 패션디자인의 학문적, 산업적 성장에 일조할 수 있다. 이세이 미야케의 디자인은 정반합의 변증법적 방식으로 독특한 조화를 이루어 낸다. 현대에 들어와서 생성과 변화의 가능성으로 이해되고 있는 변증법은 열린 과정으로 창작의 발상과 구축의 방법으로 적용될 수 있다. 이세이 미야케가 보여주는 정반합의 변증법적 디자인 방식은 규칙적인 질서의 주름과 그에 반하는 조형형식인 자유로운 패턴의 정반합, 오리가미의 일본 전통조형 방식과 현대적 기술의 결합한 미래지향적 디자인, 일본 전통의상 형태와 모더니즘이 융합한 디자인, 변화와 생성의 가능성을 열어둔 여백의 디자인과 다채로운 개성의 정반합으로 정리할 수 있다. 그리고 이러한 디자인들은 다음과 같은 효과를 발휘한다. 실용적인 아름다움을 만들고, 일본의 전통성을 탈일본화하여 세계시장에 선보이고 있으며, 전체적으로 지속과 변화의 가능성이 다른 영역이나 미래의 디자인으로 연결되는 열린 구조를 형성한다. 이러한 특성들이 결합하여 이세이 미야케만의 독창성을 창출한다.

영문 초록

The domestic fashion industry, which is moving toward a creative economy that creates high value-added products at the stage of quantitative growth, has recently shown some stagnation. An analysis of Issey Miyake s design style, which is recognized for its originality, artistry and merchandise, can contribute to the academic and industrial growth of fashion design. Issey Miyake s design creates a unique harmony in the dialectical way of antithesis. The dialectic method, which is understood as the possibility of creation and change in modern times, is an open process and can be applied as a method of creation and construction. The dialectical design method shown by Issey Miyake can be summarized into the wrinkles of regular order and the opposite form of sculpture, the free pattern, the futuristic design combined with the Japanese traditional molding method and modern technology, the design combined with the Japanese traditional costume form and modernism, and the design of margins that open the possibility of change and creation. And these designs have the following effects: It creates practical beauty, exposes Japanese tradition to the world market, and as a whole forms an open structure in which the possibility of persistence and change leads to different areas or future designs. These characteristics combine to create Issey Miyake s originality.
