국문 초록

신뢰성 분석에 있어서 Weibull 분포에 대한 모수 추정은 여러 수치적 방법이 있으나 다변수인 경우는 계산 과정이 복잡하므로, 본 연구에서는 척도 모수가 3개 이상인 경우 그 모수를 추정하기 위한 수치적 방법으로서 위약우도함수에 의한 MEM 알고리즘을 사용하여 모수 추정 점근식을 유도하고 그 사례를 보였다.

영문 초록

The reliability of a system(or component) is defined as the probability that the system operates(performs a function under stated conditions) for a stated period of time. That is, the lifetime of entity is major subject of this part associated reliability analysis. In this study, we defined the lifetime of some components in Weibull distribution, and estimated the penalized maximum likelihood estimators of parameters by modified EM algorithm. Existing statistical packages or Nerton-Raphson methods are limited in multivariate variables, so we applied directly numerical method to estimate the reliability. In practice, the structure of the program is simple and useful to understand the reliability theory.
