대학생의 대인관계 태도가 대인의사소통 능력에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구에서는 대학생들의 대인관계 태도가 대인의사소통 능력에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 살펴보고 그 과정에서 자기수용의 매개효과를 가정한 후 이를 검증하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 광주, 전남의 4년제 대학교 재학생 156명을 대상으로 대인관계 태도와 자기수용, 대인의사소통 능력에 대한 설문을 실시하였다. 선행연구 및 이론적 근거를 바탕으로 연구모형을 설정하고 연구가설을 검증하기 위해 SPSS 22를 활용하여 상관분석 및 회귀 분석을 실시하였으며 Hayes(2013)의 Macro process model 4번을 사용하여 매개효과를 검증하였다. 매개효과가 통계적으로 유의한지 확인하기 위해 부트스트래핑(Bootstrapping) 방식을 사용하였다. 본 연구의 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 대인관계 태도와 대인의사소통 능력을 다중회귀분석을 통해 검증한 결과, 대인관계 태도의 정서적 요인과 행동적 요인이 대인 의사소통 능력에 유의미한 영향을 미치고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 자기수용의 매개 효과를 검증한 결과, 대인관계 태도의 인지적 요인과 정서적 요인이 존재로서의 자기수용을 매개로 대인의사소통 능력에 간접효과를 미치고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 토대로 대학생들이 대인관계에 대한 바람직한 정서와 행동 특성을 갖는 것이 대인 의사소통 능력에 직접적인 영향을 미치며, 바람직한 사고와 정서를 가지는 것은 존재로서의 자신을 수용하는 것을 매개로 대인의사소통 능력에 간접적인 영향을 미친다는 것 을 알 수 있었다. 이러한 결과는 대학생들의 대인의사소통 능력을 향상시키기 위해서는 바람직한 대인관계 태도와 높은 자기수용 수준을 가질 수 있도록 적극적인 개입이 필요함을 시사한다. 끝으로 본 연구의 한계와 후속연구를 위한 제언, 의의에 대해 논의하였다.

영문 초록

This study aimed to examine the attitude of interpersonal on the interpersonal communication ability of university students, and also to verify the mediating effects of self-acceptance on the influence relation. For this, this study conducted a survey on the attitude of interpersonal, self-acceptance, and interpersonal communication, targeting total 156 students of four-year-course colleges in Gwangju and Jeonnam,. The research model was established based on prior researches and theoretical basis. The correlation and regression analyses were performed using SPSS 22 to verify the study hypothesis and the mediating effectiveness verification was performed using Macro process model 4 of Hayes(2013). A bootstrapping method was used to determine if the mediated effects were statistically significant. The results of this study could be summarized as follows. First, emotional factor of interpersonal attitude and behavioral factor of interpersonal attitude had significant effects on the interpersonal communication ability. Second, in the results of verifying the mediating effects of self-acceptance, the cognitive factor of interpersonal attitude and emotional factor of interpersonal attitude had indirect effects on the interpersonal communication ability with the mediation of self-acceptance as a being. Therefore, it suggests that university students need the intervention which improve positive interpersonal attitude and self-acceptance to improve interpersonal communication ability. Finally, this study discussed the significance and limitations of this study, and suggestion further study were presented.
