2019 개정 누리과정을 반영한 유아교사 핵심역량 모델 개발

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 2019년 개정 누리과정을 반영한 유아교사의 핵심역량 모델을 개발하는 것이다. 이를 위해 유아교육기관 원장(14인), 대학교수(6인), 유치원 교사(12인)의 포커스 그룹 인터뷰(F.G.I)와 국·내외 선행연구 및 문헌 분석을 토대로 핵심역량안을 도출하고, F.G.I.를 통한 유아교사 핵심역량안의 수정이 이루어졌다. 이후, 유아교육 전문가 3인의 핵심역량 타당성 검증 절차를 통해 2019 개정 누리과정을 반영한 유아교사의 핵심역량모델을 개발하였다. 개발된 유아교사 핵심역량모델은 핵심역량 8개, 하위 역량 23개, 하위내용 92개로 구성되었으며, 유아교사의 핵심역량 8개 영역은 교사인성 및 전문성 개발, 유아와의 상호작용, 놀이지원, 유아의 성장과 발달, 교육환경과 교육과정, 가족과 지역사회, 유치원운영 및 학급관리, 문화소양으로 개발되었었다. 본 연구는 국내의 유아교사가 갖추어야 할 핵심역량을 구체적으로 모델링 했다는데 의의가 있으며, 이를 통해 교사가 스스로 핵심역량에 대해 전체적으로 이해하는데 기초자료로 사용 될 것으로 기대한다. 또한 대학에서 2019년 개정누리과정을 반영한 예비유아교사 교육과정 개발에 기초적인 자료로 활용될 수 있다는데 본 연구의 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to develop a core competency model for early child hood education teachers, which reflects the Nuri process revised in 2019. Based on prior national and international research and literature analysis, a core competency plan was derived. Afterwards, the focus group interview was conducted by the head of the kindergarten and daycare center(14 persons), university professors(6 persons), and kindergarten teachers(12 persons). Modifications have been made to the core competency of infant teachers through the F.G.I. Finally, a feasibility test was conducted on the core competencies of 3 experts in early childhood education. The core competency model of early childhood education teachers has been developed to reflect the revised Nuri Process in 2019. The core competency model of the early child hood education was composed of 8 core competencies, 23 lower competencies, and 92 sub-components. The 8 areas of the core competency of early childhood education teachers are the development of teacher s professionalism, interaction with children, playground, growth and development of children, educational environment and curriculum, family and community, kindergarten operation and classroom management, and cultural education. This study is meaningful in that it specifically modelled the core competencies that domestic nursery teachers need. This allows teachers to understand their core competencies as a whole. It is also meaningful in this study that it can be used as a basic data for the development of the preliminary early child hood education teachers curriculum that reflects the revision of 2019 in universities.
