국문 초록

본 연구는 맞벌이 가정 영아의 어머니 및 교사 애착안정성에 차이가 있는지를 알아보고 이에 영향을 주는 영아 기질의 영향력을 알아보았다. 서울과 경기도 지역 어린이집 만 2세 영아 202명(남아 111명, 여아 91명)의 어머니와 이들의 담임을 맡고 있는 57명의 교사를 통해 자료를 수집하였다. 자료는 기술통계, 카이검증, paired-t test, 통제회귀분석을 통해 분석되었다. 연구결과는 첫째, 집단차원에서 영아의 어머니 및 교사에 대한 애착안정성은 서로 다른 양상을 보였다. 둘째, 개별 영아의 어머니 및 교사에 대한 애착 안정성은 남아의 경우, 유의한 차이가 있었다. 셋째, 영아의 어머니 애착안정성에는 영아의 부정적 정서성, 의도적 통제가 영아의 교사 애착안정성에는 영아의 의도적 통제, 외향성, 부정적 정서성이 영향을 미쳤다. 영아의 어머니 애착안정성과 교사 애착안정성 간 관련성이 유의하지 않음을 밝힌 본 연구의 결과는 교사와의 애착이 어머니와 애착의 보호요인으로 작용할 가능성을 시사한다. 이와 동시에 교사 애착안정성이 영아 성별과 기질의 영향을 더 많이 받는 것으로 나타나 영아의 특성에 따른 교사의 민감하고 반응적인 보육의 중요성을 환기한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to investigate the difference in dual-income family toddlers’ attachment to mother and teacher and figure out the effects of toddlers’ temperament to attachment. Data were gathered from the mother of 202 toddlers (111 boys, 91 girls) and 57 teachers who were in charge of these toddlers. Data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, chi-square test, paired-t test, and regression analysis. The results of this study are as follows: First, toddlers’ attachment to mother and teacher showed different aspect at group level. Second, toddlers’ attachment security score to mother and teacher was significantly different in boys. Third, toddlers’ negative emotionality and effortful control effected toddlers’ attachment security score with mothers. Toddlers’ effortful control, extroversion, and negative emotionality effected toddlers’ attachment security score to teacher. The results of this study suggest that toddlers’ attachment to mothers and to teachers are independent, suggesting that the attachment to teacher may be a protective factor and the attachment to teacher is more influenced by toddlers’ temperament, It calls attention to toddlers attachment with teachers and the child care practice to improve it.
