The implements for offerings found in Jecheon consisted of bronze incense burners, bronze bowls, bronze dishes. Since the 1980s, Buddhist artifacts have been unearthed from many temple sites including the Unified Silla and Goryeo periods, and these crafts were buried in the ground according to the regular rules. The way to bury the earth overlays the small vessels that can be laid in the outer containers, and the other vessels on top of them. Such a method is confirmed in Buddhist artifacts of excavated from temple site of Unified Silla, and it can be seen that it lasted from Unification Silla to Koryo. It is believed that Buddhist artifacts excavated from Jecheon were produced in the first half of the 10th century and around the 13th century. In the case of the bronze incense burners, it can be seen as the first half of the 11th century as a transitional vessel type to Goryeo Hwangwan. The bronze hwangwan consisted of the cylindrical body and the stepped pedestal were produced in the second half of the 11th century and around the early 13th century. The bronze bowl may have been produced in the second half of the 11th century and the first half of the 12th century in the light of the bowl with inscriptions ‘Gyerimgong’. The bronze dishes with rim, and it is believed to have been made from the first half of the 13th century in the light of the bronze lamp excavated from Beoohwasa temple site. The buddhist bronze vessel may have been incense burner in the light of ‘beishiru’of Northen Song, and it is believed to have been made from the second half of the 10th century to 11th century. Buddhist artifacts excavated from Jecheon, Sanoesa temple site, Gulbulsa temple site, and Hwaeomsa temple site included bronze incense burner and bronze incense with three legs, which can be seen during the transition to Goryeo Hwangwan.
