국문 초록

이 연구는 김수영 후기 시론의 ‘망각’에 관한 문제를 탐구하였다. 망각이란 일반적으로 어떤 기억을 잊는 일을 뜻하지만, 김수영은 자신의 생애 마지막 겨울 무렵에 이른 사유에서 ‘망각’을 시 쓰기에 관련된 어떤 본질적인 움직임으로 살폈다. 당시 김수영은 ‘사물을 내부로부터 보는 일’을 가로막는 ‘나’의 제한, 즉 기성의 질서에 따른 인식의 태도를 넘어서는 일을 사유하고 있었는데, 그 방법의 하나로 ‘망각’의 문제에 관심을 가졌다. 이 연구에서 김수영의 시론에 나타난 ‘망각’을 주목하는 까닭은, 김수영이 ‘사물을 내부로부터 보는’ 일을 방해하는 ‘나’의 제한, 즉 기성의 질서에 따른 인식의 태도를 넘어설 수 있게 하는 한 방법으로 ‘망각’의 문제에 관심을 가진 것으로 보았기 때문이다. 그와 같은 사유의 탐구가 개진된 산문 중 하나가 바로 「와선」이다. 김수영이 ‘와선’이라는 명상의 방법을 통해 ‘수동적 태세’를 운운한 까닭은, 그 방법으로써, 주체의 능력이라는 능동적 행위에 의해서는 다가갈 수 없는, 사태의 본질 영역에 접근할 수 있도록 한다고 보았기 때문이다. 김수영이 ‘수동적 태세’라 한 움직임 강조한 까닭을 고찰하기 위해서 이 글에서는 들뢰즈의 시간론 중, 첫 번째 시간의 종합에 나타난 수동적 종합을 참조하였다. 수동적 종합은, 주체가 무언가를 인식할 때 그것을 어떤 앎으로 만드는 지성의 작용에 앞서 나타나는, 서로 다른 것들이 만나며 개체화되는 ‘수축’의 움직임이며, 이는 이미지나 기억 등을 형성하는 정초의 역할을 한다. 그러나 기성의 사유이미지는 그와 같은 발생적인 것과의 만남에 틀을 덮어씌운다. 김수영이 사물을 외부가 아닌 내부에서 바라볼 것을 주장한 까닭은, 바로 ‘나’라는 주체의 능동적 심급이 가리고 있던 그 발생적 차원으로 다가가기 위해서이다. 김수영은 사물의 내부를 보는 시선에 이르기 위해 ‘와선’이라는 기다림을, 그 ‘수동적 태세’를 말하였던 것이다. 김수영은 ‘수동적 태세’로써 ‘시’에 이르는 길을 주장하는데, 이는 망각 가운데에서의 ‘상기’ 혹은 ‘회상’을 통해 이루어진다. 이때 시와 시 쓰기가 이행하는 것은 김수영이 헨델의 음악에서 본, 스스로를 지우는 망각의 움직임이다. 하이데거는 「「회상」」에서 일반적인 의미에서의 망각과 구분되는 ‘대담한 망각’을 논의한다. ‘대담한 망각’은 생성과 소멸의 이중운동이라는 존재의 본질적 측면에 이르는 한 과정이자, ‘나’를 ‘나’ 바깥에 놓아두는 ‘탈자태’의 경험으로, 자신을 열어 사물 혹은 사태라는 타자의 내부로 들어가는 움직임을 수행한다. 김수영이 ‘수동적 태세’라 한 시 쓰기의 태도는 바로 그와 같은 움직임에 이르기 위한 것이다. 또한, 망각은 사라져간 것을 다시 불러오는 회상 혹은 상기의 조건으로, 이때 되돌아오는 것은 자신이 한 때 현현했던 모습 그대로 다시 나타나지 않는다. 그 것들은 순수 과거의 자격에서 잠재적인 것의 한 부분대상들로, 끊임없이 스스로의 모습과 자리를 바꾸는 것으로 나타난다. 여기서 잠재적 대상들의 움직임은, 무언가가 망각에 이르는 움직임이자, 끊임없이 스스로를 지워나가는 동시에 나타나는 것으로 현성하는, 존재의 이중 운동에서 볼 수 있는 그 움직임이다. 이는 김수영이 헨델의 음악을 통해 전하고자 했던, 시가 이행하는 망각의 움직임이기도 하다. 본 연구에서 살핀 김수영의 망각, 그리고 그 망각의 글쓰기는 스스로를 부단히 차이짓는 차이로서 드러내는 미분적인 생성의 움직임이다. 망각과 함께 글쓰기는 존재 경험에 참여하는 것이 되는 동시에 그 경험 자체를 표현하는 움직임이 되는 것이다. 망각의 글쓰기는 스스로를 지워나가는 동시에 또한 표현하는 움직임으로, 그와 같은 이행을 통해서 작지만 확실한 변화를 가져오는 생성을 이루어낸다.

영문 초록

This study focused on problem of Oblivion in Kim Su-Young s Later Literature. In General, Oblivion means forgetting a memory; but Su-Young looked at Oblivion as an essential movement related to poetry writing in the thought that reached the last winter of his life. At that time, Su-Young was thinking about way of beyond the limit of I that blocked sees things from the inside as the recognition according to the established order. WaSeon [lying meditation] is the article in which Su-Young s inquiry of such a thought appeared. Su-Young introduces the method of meditation called WaSeon and talks about passive attitude because he saw that it makes him approach to the essential place of Things that can not be approached by active action such as the capacity of the subject. Thus we looked at Kim Su-Young s passive attitude with referring to the passive synthesis as the first synthesis of time on Deleuze s theories about time. Passive synthesis is the movement towards contraction in which different things meet and become individualized before the action of intelligence that makes it aware when the subject recognizes something, which foundation for images and memories. But image of thought ready-made concealed the encounter with such process of generating. The reason why Su-Young argued that things should be seeing from inside is to approach the process of generating that could not be approached in the active instance of the subject I . Su-Young said the waiting , WaSeon and passive attitude in way to get a gaze to see the inside of things. Kim Su-Young discusses the way to poetry by passive attitude , which is done through reminiscence in the oblivion. And writing poetry and poetry performs the movement of oblivion that erases itself, which is what appears in Händel s music. Heidegger discussed Brave Oblivion which is distinguished from oblivion[forgetting] in general sense in Andenken [reminiscence]. Brave Oblivion is a process that approaches the essential dimension of the double movement of Being as appearing and disappearing, and an experience of ecstase[Ekstase] that leaves I outside I , and opens oneself and performs the movement to enter into the inside of others as the things. The attitude to writing poetry that Su-Young called passive attitude is aimed to reach such a movement. In addition, Oblivion is the condition of reminiscence as recalling the disappearances, and in this case, the returning does not reappear as they once appeared. They are partial objects of what are potential in the qualifications of the pure past, and appear to constantly change their appearance and place. This movement is the double movement of Being, in which something is a movement to oblivion, and is manifested as constantly erasing itself and appearing. This is also the movement of Oblivion performed by poetry, which Su-Young wanted to refer to Handel s music. Therefore, Kim Su-Young s Oblivion and the writing of Oblivion as the movements of differential generation that reveals themselves as the differences. With Oblivion, writing becomes a movement to participate in the experience of Being and to express the experience itself. The writing of oblivion is a movement that erases itself and expresses itself, and through such movements, it produces a generation that brings small but certain changes.
