국문 초록

『인간 실격』의 주인공 오바 요조는 주체성 형성의 시기에 집이라는 세계를 그 구조에서부터 폭력적으로 인식한다. 아버지는 절대 권위의 상징으로, 어머니는 상대적으로 아버지에 의해 타자화되며 통제되는 구체성의 결여로 존재한다. 응석을 부리지 못한 채로 대가족 내에서의 위치 점유 실패와 하인들이라는 하위주체에 의해 길러지고 농락당하는 과정은 인물을 미성숙한 채 유폐시키는 결과를 낳는다. 이런 인물이 세계와 합일하려는 기제가 구원에 대한 요구로 나타난다면 그것은 번번이 자신의 불충을 확인시켜주는 것으로서, 실패로 귀결되고 만다. 이 과정에서 세계를 철저하게 타자화하는 것으로서 자아의 강화를 이룩하는 인물의 심리는 이중적이다. 그것은 주체의 성공과 실패의 동시 체험을 통한 아이러니의 반복이다. 이때 주체는 타인과의 관계성을 위해 스스로를 사물화하며 관계에 복무하는데, 이렇게 이룩한 관계에서 타자는 더 이상 주체를 성립시킬 수 없는 역조건이 되고 만다. 이때 남는 것은 관계 정립에 실패한 사물화된 주체이다. 동시에 타자는 철저히 주체를 위해 희생하는 양상으로 이용되고 마는 것이다. 이는 사르트르의 정의에 기댄 것으로, 철저히 ‘무(無)’로 자리하고 싶은 인물의 실존적 허무를 보여준다. 이는 초자아의 과잉과 오이디푸스콤플렉스를 근간으로 하는 정신분석학적 마조히즘을 포함하여, 문학적 해석을 더욱 풍부하게 해준다는 점에서 채택하여 적용하였다. 이 작품에서는 요조와 여성들이 그 역할을 명징하게 완수하고 있다. 주인공은 자신의 욕망을 관계의 반복을 통해 증명한다. 이때 그가 욕망하는 것은 아버지로 상징되는 절대자이다. 그는 이 욕망을 그리스도의 모습을 덧입히는 방식으로 다소 노골적으로 드러낸다. 이때 그리스도는 종교적 이념에 기대기보다는 상징성으로의 신(神) 혹은 절대자로 치환해야 작품 해석에 더욱 용이할 것이다. 고통의 체험을 통해 스스로를 신의 과업을 잇는 자로 때때로 혼동하는 주인공의 모습은 인간의 생과 신의 섭리 사이에서도 철저하게 타자로 자리하는 실패한 주체의 노정을 보여준다. 작품의 외부적 요소나 내부 구조가 아닌, 작중 인물의 심리양상을 문학적으로 해석하는 데 본고의 목적이 있다.

영문 초록

Oba Yozo, the main character of Human Disqualification recognizes the world of home as violent from its structure at a time of self-reliance. A father is a symbol of absolute authority, and a mother is a relative lack of specificity typed and controlled by her father. Failure to occupy a position in a large family without being condescending and the process of being raised and ridiculed by a subordinate, the servants, results in the depiction of a person in his orn If such a figure appears to be a call for salvation, it is often a confirmation of his disloyalty, which results in failure. In this process, the mentality of a character that strengthens itself as a thorough typing of the world. It is a repetition of irony through the simultaneous experience of the subject s success and failure. At this time, the main body embodies itself for the sake of relationships with others, and in such a relationship, the batter is no longer able to himself. What remains at this time is the embodied entity that has failed to establish a relationship. At the same time, hitters are used to make sacrifices for the main body. This is based on Sartre s definition, which shows the existential bluster of a person who wants to be completely nothing. This was adopted and applied in the sense that it would enrich literary interpretation, including hyper-infusion of super-ego and psychoanalytical masochism based on Oedipus complex. In this work, yo-jo and women clearly fulfill the role. The main character proves his desire through the repetition of the relationship. What he desires at this time is the absolute being symbolized by his father. He reveals this desire more or less blatantly in a way that embodies the image of Christ. At this time, Christ should be replaced with a god or an absolute figure with a symbol rather than leaning on a religious ideology to facilitate interpretation of the work. The main character s occasional confusion of himself as a person who connects God s task through experience of suffering shows the journey of a failed subject, which has become a batter even between human life and divine providence. The purpose of this book is to interpret the psychological aspects of the characters in writing in a literary way, not the external elements or the internal structure of the work.
