초등학생의 여가스포츠 참여가 자아존중감과 교우관계에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

이 연구는 초등학생의 ‘여가스포츠 참여’가 ‘자아존중감’ 및 ‘교우관계’에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위하여 실시되었다. 연구대상 학생은 ‘경기도 화성시’의 W초등학교 4~6학년 학생 243명을 대상으로 했다. 통계처리는 SPSS 25.0 프로그램을 사용해 ‘빈도분석, 교차분석, 독립표본 T-test(사전-사후 검사), 일원변량분석(One way ANOVA)’을 실시하였다. 통계분석 결과 초등학생의 ‘여가스포츠 참여’ 효과는 다음과 같이 해석할 수 있다. 첫째, 초등학생의 ‘여가스포츠 참여’는 ‘자아존중감’에 유의미한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 특히 ‘여가스포츠 참여’ 학생들은 ‘일반적 자아존중감’ 향상이 유의미하게 나타났다. 둘째, 초등학생의 ‘여가스포츠 참여’가 ‘교우관계’에는 유의미한 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 그 이유는 ‘선행 연구’ 검토 결과 ‘여가스포츠 참여’가 ‘교우관계’의 하위요소인 ‘친구 간의 적응, 교우관계 전체’에서 유의한 상관관계가 나타날 것으로 기대했지만, 이 연구에서 ‘여가스포츠 참여’후 실시한 ‘사후검사’ 결과 유의미한 정도의 차이가 나타나지 않았기 때문이다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of elementary school students ‘leisure sports participation’ on ‘Self-Esteem’ and ‘Peer-Relationship’. The subjects of the study were ‘243 students’ of grades 4~6 in ‘W elementary school’ in Hwaseong-si, Gyeonggi-do. For statistical processing, frequency analysis, cross analysis, independent sample T-test(Pre-Post test), and one way ANOVA were conducted using SPSS 25.0 program. As a result of the statistical analysis, the effect of ‘leisure sports participation’ of elementary school students can be interpreted as follows. First, elementary school students ‘leisure sports participation’ had a significant difference in ‘Self-Esteem’. In particular, students who ‘participated in leisure sports’ showed a significant improvement in general ‘Self-Esteem’. Second, elementary school children s ‘participation in leisure sports’ did not have a significant effect on ‘Peer-Relationship’. The reason for this was that the results of the ‘preliminary research’ review showed that ‘participation in leisure sports’ would have a significant correlation in ‘adaptation between friends and the whole relationship’, which is a sub-element of ‘Peer-Relationship’. This was because there was no significant difference in ‘post-test’ after participation.
