유아영재를 위한 누리과정 기반 PBL 프로그램 개발 및 효과 분석

국문 초록

본 연구는 만 3~5세 유아에게 공통적으로 제공되는 교육·보육과정인 누리과정을 기반으로 유아교육기관에서 만 5세의 유아영재를 대상으로 PBL 프로그램을 적용할 수 있도록, 유아영재를 위한 누리과정 기반 PBL 프로그램을 개발하고 그 효과를 검증하는데 목적이있다. 이를 위해 총 11가지의 누리과정 생활주제를 기반으로, 각 생활주제를 ‘문제제시 및 정의-문제해결계획-해결책고안-해결책발표 및 평가’의 4단계로 구성한 총 44차시의 프로그램을 개발하였다. 본 연구에서 개발된 프로그램의 효과검증을 위해 실험집단 10명, 통제집단 10명의 유아영재를 대상으로 사전, 사후 검사를 실시하였으며 정규성을 가정하지 않더 라도 사용할 수 있는 Mann-Whitney U Test를 실시하여 사후검사 결과를 비교하였다. 그결과 누리과정 기반 PBL 프로그램이 유아영재의 문제해결능력(문제해결 수행, 문제해결의질, 문제해결 독창성)과 창의적 사고능력(유창성, 독창성, 제목의 추상성, 정교성, 전체)을 향상시키는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 유아영재들이 유치원에서 방과 후 프로그램으로 영재교육을 제공받을 수 있도록 프로그램을 개발하고 효과를 검증하였다는 점에서 의미가 있다.

영문 초록

The objective of this study is to develop a Nuri curriculum-based PBL program and also to verify its effects, in order to apply the PBL program to the gifted young children in the early childhood educational institutes focusing on five-year old children, out of Nuri curriculum which is the educational/childcare curriculum commonly provided to children in 3-5 year old. For this, based on total 11 kinds of life theme of Nuri curriculum, this study developed a program composed of otal 44 sessions including each life theme in the stage of suggestion of a problem, definition-problem-solving plan-working on a solution-presentation of a solution, and evaluation. To verify the effects of the program developed in this study, the pre/post tests were conducted targeting the gifted young children such as ten children of an experimental group and another ten children of a control group. The results of the post-test were compared by conducting the Mann-Whitney U Test that could be used without assuming the normality. As a result, the Nuri curriculum-based PBL program improved the problem-solving ability(performance of problem-solving, quality of problem-solving, originality of problem-solving) and creative thinking ability(fluency, originality, abstractness of title, sophistication, the whole) of the gifted young children. The significance of\ this study is to develop the program that could provide the education for the gifted to the gifted young children as an after-school program in kindergartens, and also to verify its effects.
