마인드맵 활용 수업의 효과 : 창의적 사고, 기억력, 학업효능감에 대한 질적분석을 중심으로

국문 초록

본 연구는 마인드맵 활용 수업을 통해 향상되는 수업효과를 알아보기 위하여 한국사를 토대로 마인드맵 수업을 실시하였다. 마인드맵 수업은 중학교 2, 3학년을 대상으로 5주간 실시하였으며 수업 전후로 실시한 인터뷰 내용과 수업 시 작성한 마인드맵 결과물, 기억과제를 질적 분석하였다. 분석 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 학습자의 마인드맵 결과물에 대한 발달적 변화양상을 분석한 결과 창의적 사고의 유창성이 증가한 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 수업 초기와 후기의 마인드맵 기억과제를 비교한 결과 학습자의 기억력이 향상된 것으로 도출되었다. 셋째, 마인드맵을 활용한 수업은 집중력 증진을 통해 학습자의 학업효능감을 향상시킨 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 본 연구는 마인드맵이 학습자의 창의적 사고와 기억력의 향상과 더불어 학업효능감에도 긍정적인 영향을 주는 수업방법임을 확인하였다.

영문 초록

This study conducted the mind map class based on Korean history in order to find out the effect of class improvement through the mind map class. Classes using mind maps were given to juniors in grades 2-3 for five weeks. The qualitative analysis was carried out through interviews before and after the class, mind maps produced during the class, and memory tasks. The analysis results are as follows. First, when the result of the learner s mind map was analyzed for the developmental change pattern, the result showed that the fluency of creative thinking increased. Second, comparing the mind map memory task at the beginning and the end of the class showed that the learner s memory was improved. Third, the class using the mind map improved the academic self-efficacy by improving the concentration of the learner. Therefore, this study shows that the mind map has a positive effect on the academic self-efficacy as well as improving the creative thinking and memory of the learner. It was confirmed that.
