잡지인 차상찬 연구 : 차상찬이 만든 잡지를 중심으로

국문 초록

우리 민족의 얼과 독립정신을 계승한 위대한 잡지로 평가받고 있는 잡지 중 하나로서《개벽(開闢)》지를 빼놓을 수 없다. 《개벽》지를 중심으로 개벽사에서 발행한 11종의 잡지에는 오롯이 차상찬의 공로가 내재해 있다. 잡지인으로서 그 공로가 큼에도 불구하고 널리 알려져 있지 않아 본 연구에서는 잡지인 차상찬의 정신을 기리기 위해, 그가 만든 잡지를 중심으로 연구하였다. 차상찬이 한국 잡지사에 기여한 업적은 다음과 같다. (1)시사지로서 의견지를 만들었다. (2)일제강점기 에도 역사의식을 고양함으로써 민족의 정체성을 심어주었다. (3)민족문 학의 역사를 잡지와 함께 썼다. (4)대중독자층에 따른 잡지를 출간하였다. (5)최초 여기자를 양성한 페미니스트였다. (6)잡지의 미디어 생태학적 역할을 수행하였다. (7)최초의 기자단체 및 잡지협회를 창설했다.

영문 초록

We usually state 《Gae Byouk(開闢)》as one of great magazines. Magazine company Gae Byouk published 11 magazines including《Gae Byouk》in which there were lot of distinguished services of Sang-Chan Cha who is unknown. Besides, a petty studies of great publishers, or magazine journalists in the field of publishing studies. Therefore, I raise the spirit and meritorious services of magazine journalist Sang-Chan Cha up through this study. Cha’s meritorious services through magazines publishing are such as; (1) He made the public sphere through current events magazines. (2) He tried to exalt Korean Identity through hundreds of articles about Korean history, customs, folkways and geographic informations, nevertheless it was the colonial period. (3) He made the literature sphere for many Korean novelists, poets, and new faces. Later, it was really important role in Korean literature history. (4) Gae Byouk was the first magazine company published 11 individual magazines for devided readers, such as intelligentsias, children, students, women, farmers, and so on. (5) Making the magazine for woman and making the sphere for woman reporter, or woman editor, it was really progressive feminism at that time. (6) He was a substantial magazine journalist against newspaper supervision according to the theory of journalism supervision. (7) His fields of action reached to making the journalists association and the magazines association was for a resist-Japanese movement through magazine journalism As the above, Sang-Chan Cha was a true magazine journalist using pen with which resist Japan colonialism.
