기업의 공급업체 선정 시 FTA 관련 요인의 중요도 수준에 관한 연구

국문 초록

오늘날 기업은 보다 많은 이윤창출과 비교우위 획득을 위해 우수한 공급업체 선정에 많은 노력을 기울이고 있다. 전통적으로 낮은 공급 가격, 납기 준수, 양호한 품질 같은 요인은 공급업체 선정에서 중요한 요소로 인식되었다. 그러나 최근 FTA 협정이 활발하게 체결되고 국내⋅외 경영환경도 급변함에 따라 기업들이 공급업체 변경과 같은 새로운 의사결정을 할 수 있는 가능성이 확대되고 있다. 하지만 아직까지 이런 변화 추세를 고려하여 기업의 공급업체 선정 요인을 분석한 연구는 매우 부족한 실정이다. 이에 본 연구는 기업이 과거 공급업체 선정에서 중요하게 고려했던 전통적인 요인들에 FTA 관련 요인들을 추가하여 이들의 상대적 중요도를 분석하였다. 이를 위해 문헌연구와 구매 전문가 인터뷰 등을 통해 기업의 공급업체 선정 요인을 4개의 주 항목과 12개의 세부 항목 요인으로 구분하여 2단계로 계층화하였다. 이를 토대로 기업 구매 담당자 및 구매 의사 결정자 설문과 AHP 분석을 수행하여 기존 공급업체 선정 요인 속에서 FTA 관련 요인들의 상대적 위치와 중요성을 분석하고 시사점을 도출하였다. 분석 결과, FTA 관련 요인은 관세 특혜를 활용한 가격경쟁력 제고와 원산지 정보 공유를 통한 서비스 수준 제고 측면에서 새로운 공급업체 선정 요인으로 주목받는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 경영환경 변화에 따라 기업의 공급업체 선정 요인이 다양해 지고 이들의 중요도와 우선순위에 변화가 발생할 수 있음을 보여주는 것이다. 이에 금번 연구 성과는 급변하는 교역환경에서 기업 경쟁력 강화를 위한 실질적인 의사결정 프로세스를 이해하는데 기여할 것으로 기대된다.

영문 초록

Many companies are putting a lot of effort into selecting good suppliers to generate more profits and gain a comparative advantage. Traditionally, factors such as low supply prices and compliance with lead time were recognized as important elements in supplier selection. However, with the recent brisk signing of FTA agreements and rapid changes in the business environment at home and abroad, the possibility of companies making new decisions, such as changes in suppliers, is widening. This study analyzed the relative importance of FTA-related factors to traditional factors that companies considered important in selecting suppliers in the past. To this end, the company’s supplier selection factors were divided into four main items and 12 detailed item factors through literature research and interviews with purchasing experts, and were stratified into two levels. Based on this, the purchasing managers’ survey and AHP analysis were conducted to analyse the relative location and importance of FTA-related factors among the factors selected by existing suppliers and to derive their implications. According to the analysis, FTA-related factors are seen as factors for selecting new suppliers in terms of enhancing price competitiveness by utilizing tariff favors and raising service levels by sharing information of origin. This shows that the factors of selecting a company’s suppliers can vary depending on the change in the business environment and changes in their importance and priorities, and the results of this research are expected to contribute to understanding the practical decision-making process for strengthening the company’s competitiveness in a rapidly changing trade environment.
