국문 초록

20세기 후반부터 들어와 한국과 중국 양국을 중심으로 국제사회의 주목을 받기 시작한 현 중국 대륙의 요하 지역을 중심으로 한 일련의 신석기시대 이후의 옥문화 사회는 유옥위장唯玉爲葬, 유옥위례唯玉爲禮라고 하는 독자적인 사회적 질서를 갖추고 있었을 뿐 아니라, 장기간에 걸쳐 역사적 실체로서 존재했었다는 것이다. 특히 20세기 중반 이후 중국 내몽고, 요녕, 길림성 등 지역에서 집중적으로 발견되고 있는 옥룡, 옥수형결, 옥조, 구운형 옥패 등 일련의 홍산문화의 옥기들은 후일 황하 문명으로 일컬어지는 중원지역과는 문화적 차원에서 보더라도 기본적으로 성격이 다른 문명사회의 존재를 입증할 수 있는 옥문화 사회의 역사적 유물이라는 것이다. 특히 󰡔사기史記󰡕, 󰡔한서漢書󰡕, 󰡔산해경山海經󰡕, 󰡔로사路史󰡕등에 기재되어 있는 태호 복희의 용사龍師, 염제 신농의 옥리玉理, 전욱의 옥조玉兆, 순舜의 선기옥형璇璣 玉衡 등 옥문화 관련 문헌 기록들과 홍산문화(흑피옥문화 포함)의 유물, 고구려 고분 벽화에 등장하는 인면조와 같은 반인반수 형상들은 시대와 역사를 달리하면서도 내면적으로는 홍산문화의 옥문화는 역사적 계승 과정을 가지고 있는 결과물이라는 것을 충분히 보여주고 있다는 것이다.

영문 초록

Recently, the direction of research on Jade culture in China is moving from individual Jadeware of jade culture to the whole jade culture. Under such circumstances, in order to newly identify the historical affinitive relationship mainly around Dōngyí東夷 Tribe and the culture subject of Black skin jade culture and Hóngshān紅山 Culture that built its own cultural area and existed as the historical subject in a certain area called Liáohé遼 河 Basin of the current Chinese Continent for at least over 5000 years. Therefore, in order to identify the historical basis on jade carving of Black skin jade culture and Hóngshān Culture, Yùlóng(C-shaped dragon玉龍) of snake totem, Yùxiónglóng (bear-shaped dragon made of jade玉熊龍) and bear crown Yùdiāo Shénrén(玉雕神人) of bear totem, Niúshǒurénshēn(牛首人身) of cattle totem, Yùniǎo (玉鳥) of bird totem, Rénmiànniǎoshēn(人面鳥身;human face, bird body) etc. are included, this study is the first experimental result of the comprehensive analysis of Black skin jade culture and Hóngshān Culture jade carving artifacts in the Neolithic Age, literature records such as《Shānhǎijīng山海經》詩經》《zuǒzhuàn左傳》《shàngshū 尙書》《Shǐjì史記》Gāojùlì(Goguryeo高句麗)tomb murals etc. etc. and as a culture with strong international nature directly related to communal cultural wish of three countries of Korea, China and Japan in East Asia, jade culture based on these series of ‘jade totem’ societies not only can transcend the scope and boundaries current ethnic groups or countries but are the origin of the communal civilization to recover the identity of the international community in East Asia.
