영문 초록

This paper deals with the international relations and political situations of the Little Entente form 1920 to 1929. In this period the alliance of Czechoslovakia, Yugoslavia and Rumania consisted of three bilateral political and military conventions independent form one another. The Little Entente was an alliance formed in 1920 and 1921 by Czechoslovakia, Romania and Yugoslavia with the purpose of common defense against Hungarian irredentism and the prevention of a Habsburg restoration. France supported the alliance by signing treaties with each member country. But Their activities had not been unified until 1929. The first actual trilateral contract was signed in 1929. The first attempts seeking a mutual defense of the successor states of the Austria-Hungary took place at the Paris Peace Conference of 1919. In spite of being conventions, The activities of the Little Entente is not known well and poorly documented in this period. The numerous publications and papers were written without primary sources, often with national and emotional motives. To understand well the reasons for World War Two, Historians have usually concentrated their attention on 1930 s. Sometimes This kind of viewpoints are very rational. But for more broad understanding this event, It is more useful to examine 1920 s. In this occasion, This paper gives special attention that period and Little Entent. As a result of this study, The process of the formation of the Little Entente and it s influences have been brought to light .
