화자의 말속도에 따른 집단(일반 성인과 말더듬 성인)의 불안 및 의사소통태도

국문 초록

본 연구에서는 집단(일반 성인과 말더듬 성인) 간 화자의 말속도에 따른 불안, 상태 불안(편안하지 않음, 긴장, 짜증스러움, 조마조마함), 말의 부자연스러움의 차이를 알아보고, 집단(일반 성인과 말더듬 성인) 별 화자의 말속도에 따른 불안과 상태 불안(편안하지 않음, 긴장, 짜증스러움, 조마조마함)에 상관관계가 있는지 살펴보았다. 그리고 마지막으로 집단(일반 성인과 말더듬 성인) 별 화자의 말속도에 따른 불안과 의사소통태도 점수와 상관관계가 있는지 살펴보았다. 이를 위하여 대상자는 일반 성인 10명, 말더듬 성인 10명이 참여하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 첫째, 말더듬 성인이 일반 성인보다 화자의 말속도에 따른 불안과 편안하지 않음이 더 컸고, 화자의 성별에 따라 비교했을 때 말더듬 성인이 일반 성인보다 여성 화자의 말속도에 따른 불안, 편안하지 않음, 긴장이 유의하게 더 컸다. 둘째, 일반 성인과 말더듬 성인은 여성화자의 말속도가 느릴 때 불안이 커질수록 긴장, 짜증스러움, 조마조마함이 커졌다. 그리고 일반 성인은 여성화자의 말속도가 빠를 때 불안이 커질수록 긴장, 짜증스러움, 조마조마함이 커졌으나, 말더듬 성인은 여성화자의 말속도가 빠를 때 불안이 커질수록 편안하지 않음이 커졌다. 셋째, 일반 성인과 말더듬 성인 집단 내에서 화자의 말속도에 따른 불안과 의사소통태도와는 통계적으로 유의한 상관관계가 없었다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to examine the difference of anxiety according to the speech rate for the speakers between two groups like general adults and stuttering adults, state anxiety(discomfort, tension, annoyance, irritation), and unnatural remarks. In addition, this study was to investigate whether there was correlation with the anxiety, state anxiety(discomfort, tension, annoyance, irritation) according to the general adults and stuttering adults by groups like general adults and stuttering adults. And lastly, this study was to investigate whether there was correlation with the anxiety and communication attitude score according to the general adults and stuttering adults by groups like general adults and stuttering adults. Ten general adults and ten stuttering adults engaged in this study actively. From the result of this research above, it may be summed up as follows. First, the stuttering adults had a higher anxiety and discomfort according to the speech rate for the speakers than those of general adults. When compared to that by the speakers’ gender, the stuttering adults had a significantly higher anxiety, discomfort, and tension according to the speech rate for the female speakers than those of general adults. Second, when the general adults and stuttering adults were slow in the speech rate for the female speakers, the higher the anxiety became, the larger the tension, annoyance, and irritation became. When the general adults had fast speech rate for the female speakers, the larger the anxiety became, the larger the tension, annoyance, and irritation became. However, when the stuttering adults had fast speech rate for the female speakers, the larger the anxiety became, the larger the discomfort became. Third, there was no statistically significant correlation with the anxiety and communication attitude according to the speech rate for the speakers within the general adult group and stuttering adult group.
