국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 기술창업 기업의 고용창출이 일반기업과 어떤 차이를 가지는지 검증하는 것이다. 또한 기술창업이 고용 창출에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 확인함으로써 고용창출을 위한 목적으로 시행되는 기술창업지원 정책의 타당성을 확인하고자 한다. 이를 위하여 기술창업의 의미와 범주를 확인하고, 기술창업이 고용에 미치는 영향에 대한 선행연구를 고찰하였다. 이를 바탕으로 기술기업과 일반기업의 고용의 양적 측면을 비교하여 차이를 검증하였으며, 기술창업기 업이 고용의 양적측면에 미치는 영향을 확인하였다. 구체적으로 기술기업은 일반기업에 비해 높은 고용인원을 보였으며, 신규 채용인원에서는 유의미한 차이를 확인할 수 없었다. 이는 기술기 업의 신규채용에서는 높은 수치를 보이지 않지만, 고용의 유지측면에서 우수하다는 판단의 근거가 될 수 있다. 신규 채용인원의 측면에서 일반기업이 우수하게 나타난 것은 일반 서비스기업의 단기채용 중심의 고용 특성에서 비롯된 것으로 해석되었다. 기술창업은 단기적 성과인 신규 채용보다 지속적인 고용 유지 측면에서 높은 성과를 기대할 수 있으며, 안정적인 양질의 일자리 제공이라는 측면에서 기술창업지원 정책의 타당성을 확인할 수 있는 중요한 시사점을 갖는다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to examine how the employment creation of technology startup firms differs from the general enterprise. In addition, by examining the effect of technology entrepreneurship on job creation, we would confirm the feasibility of technology entrepreneurship support policy for employment creation. In addition, we aim to identify the meaning and category of technology entrepreneurship as well as to examine the effects of technology entrepreneurship on employment. Specifically, we examined the differences in the quantitative aspects of employing technology companies and general companies, and confirmed the effects of technology startup companies on the quantitative aspects of employment. As a result, the technology companies showed higher employment numbers than the general companies, and no significant difference was found in the new recruiters. This is not a high figure for new recruitment of technology companies, but it can be used as a basis for judging that it is superior in terms of employment retention. In terms of new recruiters, it was interpreted that general companies showed excellent results because of employment characteristics of general service companies focusing on short-term recruitment. Technology entrepreneurship can be expected to achieve higher results in terms of sustained employment than new recruitment in the short term, and it has important implications for confirming the feasibility of technology startup support policy in terms of providing stable and high quality jobs.
