영문 초록

Throughout the entire main article, we were able to examine how Japanese pirates were able to overcome the Koryo’s conscript army to a certain extent during the San-Ak guerilla battle with their highly professional combat corps and well-disciplined command system. The word ‘Japanese invaders’ conjures up the images of sea pirates that pillaged, set on fire, and kidnapped wherever they went. From here, we need to take note of the reference in Fujiki Hisashi’s study of the actions of the military power of various Daimyo’s that were headed by Takeda during the civil war era: “Ordinary soldiers, whose income came from setting fires and marauding grains, human lives and other treasures placed them in a world apart from the distinguished military services of honorable warriors. However, observed through historical documents starting with official state papers to diaries and chronological documentations as well as memorandum and military archives, it is necessary to note that the world of these soldiers unfolded under the shadows of ravaged battlefields where they set fires and looted grains, human lives, and riches with great intent. Therefore, althoughit can be said that there was a difference between the civil war era and the Nanpoku, the actions of the soldiers who formed the Senkoku Daimyo’s standard army were no different from those of regular thieves. And from an inverse point of view, it is felt that there is a need to change the concept that during the Nanpoku, the Japanese invaders were not just simple groups of marauders, but rather under the protection of the feudal lords’ miliary powers.
