중년기의 배우자 역할 중요도와 결혼기념일 의례가 가족건강성에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 결혼기념일의례가 중년기의 배우자역할중요도와 가족건강성 사이에서 발휘하는 매개효과를 분석하여 그 중요성을 규명하는 데 있었다. 이를 위해 만 40세에서 64세까지의 중년기 기혼남녀를 대상으로 2018년 4월 20일부터 4월 30일까지 설문 조사를 실시하여 배우자와 결혼기념일의례를 이행하는 314명의 자료를 최종 분석대상으로 선정하였다. 주요 연구결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째 중년기의 결혼기념일의례는 매년 정기적으로 이행되며 가족이 함께 참여하여 즐거운 시간을 보내는 가운데 특별한 의미를 공유하는 특징을 지녔다. 둘째 중년기의 배우자역할중요도, 결혼기념일의례, 가족건강성의 관계를 살펴본 결과, 가족건강성은 결혼기념일의례 및 배우자역할중요도와 유의미한 정적 상관을 보였다. 또한 결혼기념일의례는 배우자역할중요도, 가족건강성의 하위영역인 가족유대, 문제해결, 의사소통, 가치공유의 순으로 유의미한 정적 상관관계를 나타냈다. 셋째 중년기의 배우자역할중요도와 가족건강성에 대한 결혼기념일의례의 매개 효과를 분석한 결과, 결혼기념일의례의 부분 매개효과가 검증되었다. 또한 매개효과의 통계적 유의성을 검증하기 위해 Sobel Test를 실시한 결과 Z=5.67로 p<.001 수준에서 유의미한 것으로 확인되었다. 이상의 연구결과를 토대로 본 논문에서는 중년기의 배우자 역할중요도와 가족건강성의 관계를 연결해주는 매개로 가족 여행과 다례(茶禮)로 구성된 결혼기념일의례 콘텐츠를 제안하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to analyze the mediating effect of wedding anniversary ritual on the relationship between spousal role importance and family health in middle-age. Married middle-aged individuals between 40 and 64 years old were surveyed from April 20 to April 30, 2018, and the data of 314 respondents were analyzed for this study. The major findings of this study are as follows. First, it was found that wedding anniversaries were celebrated every year by middle-aged married couples along with their family members. Wedding anniversary rituals together held a special meaning for each family. Second, family health had a significant positive correlation with spousal role importance and wedding anniversary ritual, and spousal role importance also was positively related with wedding anniversary ritual. Third, a mediation regression analysis was conducted to examine whether wedding anniversary ritual had a mediating effect on spousal role importance and family health, and the result verified that wedding anniversary ritual had a partial mediating effect. Based on these results, this study proposed new wedding anniversary ritual contents as a mediation for linking spousal role importance and family health among middle-aged families.
