텍스트 네트워크 분석을 이용한 학습영재성과 창의영재성에 대한 교사의 인식 탐구

국문 초록

본 연구에서는 텍스트 네트워크 분석을 이용하여 서울 소재 대학부설 영재교육원에 제출된 221개의 교사추천서를 대상으로 교사의 학습영재성과 창의영재성에 대한 인식을 탐색하였다. 이를 위해 KrKwic의 Krwords와 Netminer4.0 프로그램을 사용하여 주제어 빈도분석과 중앙성 분석, 응집분석, 델타-C 알고리즘 분석을 포함하는 네트워크 분석을 실시하였다. 첫째, 전체 교사추천서 분석 결과, 표면적으로 교사들의 영재성에 대한 인식이 창의영재성보다 학습영재성에 더 주안점을 두고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 전체 교사추천서 하위구조 네트워크 분석결과, 교사들은 내면적으로 창의영재성의 특성을 주요하게 반영하여 인식하는 것으로 나타났다. 다음으로, 영재성의 영역과 유형에 따른 교사추천서 네트워크 분석 결과, 교사들이 인식하는 학습영재성과 창의영재성의 개념에는 67% 이상의 공유비율이 나타났고, 중앙성 분석 결과 서로 공유하고 있는 주제어들이 구체적으로 도출되었다. 학습영재성과 창의영재성에 대해 구별된 특성도 나타났는데, 과학영역에서는 두유형의 영재성의 특성이 차별화되어 인식된 반면, 수학영역에서는 큰 차이가 나타나지 않았다. 본 연구의 함의와 향후연구의 방향성을 논의하였다.

영문 초록

Using the text network analysis, this study examined teachers’ perceptions on academic versus creative giftedness by analyzing 221 teachers’ recommendation letters submitted for participation in a university-based gifted institute in Seoul. For this, a frequency analysis and the network analyses including centrality, cohesion, and delta-C algorism analyses were conducted by using the KrKwic’s Krwords and Netminer4.0. First, the results of the overall analysis indicated that explicitly teachers focused more on academic giftedness than on creative giftedness. However, from the results of the subgroup network analysis, it was found that internally teachers mainly perceived the characteristics of creative giftedness. Next, as the results of analysis according to type and domain, the common ratio between academic and creative giftedness in teachers’ perceptions was more than 67%, and the specific common key words were shown from the centrality analyses. Regarding the differences between academic and creative giftedness, these were significant in the domain of science, however, in the domain of mathematics, the noticeable differences were not found. Implications and future directions were discussed.
