호텔기업의 교육훈련비와 복리후생비가 경영성과에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구는 비상장 호텔기업을 대상으로 교육훈련비와 복리후생비의 지출이 기업의 경영성과에 미치는 영향에 대해 분석하였다. 연구기간은 2004년부터 2016년까지이며, 비상장 호텔기업 표본수 1,800개의 기업을 대상으로 하였다. 분석결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 기업크기에 따라 기업의 경영성과 및 교육훈련비와 복리후생비에 대해 차이가 있는지에 대해 살펴보았다. 결과를 보면, 경영성과의 경우 중소기업에서 더 높게 나타나는 것을 알 수 있었 다. 그리고 복리후생비도 중소기업에서 더 높은 것을 알 수 있다. 둘째, 교육훈련비의 지출이 기업의 경영성과에 미치는 영향을 살펴보면, 교육훈련비의 지출보다는 복리후생비의 지출이 기업의 경영성과에 양의 영향을 미치고 있다. 셋째, 기업규모에 따라 교육훈련비가 기업의 경영성과에 미치는 영향에 대해 살펴본 결과, 교육 훈련비의 지출이 기업의 경영성과에 긍정적인 영향을 미치고 있으며, 대기업의 경우는 기업의 경영성과에 음의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타나고 있다. 본 연구는 비상장기업의 호텔기업을 대상으로 서비스업에서 가장 중요한 인적자원에 대한 훈련 또는 만족도와 관련된 변수인 교육훈련비와 복리후생비의 지출이 기업의 경영성과에 대해 살펴봄 으로써 정보이용자에게 유용한 정보를 제공할 것으로 보인다. 또한 기업규모를 구분하여 규모가큰 대기업과 규모가 작은 중소기업으로 구분하여 교육훈련비와 복리후생비의 지출이 경영성과에 대해 어떠한 영향을 미치는지에 대해 살펴봄으로써 관련업계의 경영자의 경영방침 및 예산설정등 의사결정에 유용하게 사용될 것으로 보인다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of training expenses and welfare expenditure on firm performance of non-listed hotel companies. The study period was from 2004 to 2016, and the survey was conducted on 1,800 sample companies of hotel companies of unlisted companies. The results of the analysis are as follows. First, we examined whether there are any differences in firm performance, education and training costs, and welfare according to firm size. The results show that firm performance is higher in SMEs. And the welfare cost is also higher in SMEs. Second, the effect of education and training expenditure on the performance of a company has a positive effect on the performance of a company. Third, as a result of examining the effect of education and training expenses on business performance according to firm size, the expenditure of education and training expenses has a positive effect on firm performance of company. In the case of large corporations, it appears that they have a negative influence on firm performance. This study examined the firm performance of the non - listed hotel companies in terms of the training and satisfaction of the most important human resources in the service industry. This is likely to provide information useful to information users. In addition, we examined the effect of expenditure of education and training expenses and welfare expenses on firm performance by dividing the company size into large corporations and small and medium sized companies. It is expected to be useful for decision making such as management policy and budget setting of related industry managers.
