대학생의 데이트폭력 가해요인 검증

국문 초록

일반적으로 생애과정에 있어 본격적인 이성교제가 대학 시절에 형성되고 그에 따라 데이트폭력 역시 본격적으로 발생하는 시점이 대학생 시절이라 판단한다면 이에 대한 구체적 연구와 분석의 필요성이 더욱 크게 강조된다. 따라서 이 연구에서는 생애과정에 있어 이성교제가 본격적으로 이루어지는 대학생들의 데이트폭력과 관련하여 가해행위가 이루어지도록 하는 구체적인 영향요인을 분석하고자 하였다. 분석을 위해서는 총 159명의 대학생을 대상으로 자기기입식 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 연구의 종속변수로는 데이트폭력의 가해경험, 독립변수로는 부적응행동, 성인애착, 그리고 폭력허용도를 중심으로 구성하였다. 분석결과 대학생들의 데이트폭력 가해 경험에 영향을 미치는 요인들 중 부적응행동이 가장 많은 영향을 미치고 있으며, 다음으로 인구사회학적 요인, 폭력허용도 그리고 성인애착의 순으로 제시되었다. 즉, 대학생들의 데이트폭력 가해행위는 우울, 공격성, 사회적 위축, 문제행동 등으로 측정되는 부적응행동에 의해 야기되고 있으며 이러한 부정적 요인들을 제거해줄 수 있는 대안이 모색되어야만 조기에 억제될 수 있다는 결론을 도출하게 되었다. 특히, 이러한 측면에서 대학생들이 대부분의 시간을 보내고 교육을 이수하도록 하는 각 대학의 역할이 강조된다. 따라서 향후각 대학에서는 상담조직의 역할과 기능을 더욱 강화하여 부적응행동의 하위요인인 우울과 공격성, 사회적 위축, 그리고 이에 따른 문제행동을 억제하기 위한 재학생 대상 심리검사와 상담실시를 확대해야 할 것이다. 또한 재학생 대상 데이트폭력 예방교육의 의무화와 함께 피해자가 발생할 경우 이들에 대한 지원과 보호, 상담 등을 체계적으로 수행할 수 있는 시스템도 구축해야 할것이다.

영문 초록

Supposing that during the university student period in our lives, dating not only starts and is done in earnest generally and but also dating abuse occurs. the need for detailed research and analysis thereon has to be emphasized more than any others. So, this study sought to analyze specific influence factors causing violence in connection with student s dating abuse as they experience dating most frequently over the course of their lives. For the analysis, the study conducted self-administered questionnaire survey among 159 students in total with dependent variable being experience of assault in dating abuse and independent variables as maladjusted behavior, adult attachment and tolerable level of abuse. As a result of the analysis, the study found that, out of factors affecting experience of assault in dating abuse, maladjusted behavior had the largest effect, followed by sociodemographic factors, tolerable level of abuse and adult attachment. Behaviors of student s dating abuse were caused by maladjusted behaviors such as depression, aggression, social withdrawal and problematic behavior. And the study drew conclusion that these could be controlled early only when alternatives to remove these negative factors were to be suggested. In this regard, the emphasis was put particularly on the role of each university where students spend most of their time. Thus, each university should further strengthen the role and function of counseling organization and expand the scope of its psychological inspection and counselling among the undergraduates to curb sub-factors of maladjusted behavior - depression, aggression, social withdrawal and consequent problematic behavior. On top of that, universities should build a system whereby, should there be any victim, they can carry out support, protection and counselling effectively along with obligatory education to prevent dating abuse among undergraduates.
