수학불안에 관한 국내외 연구의 동향 및 과제

국문 초록

본 연구는 문헌 검토를 통하여 인지신경기법을 중심으로 국내외에서 이루어지고 있는 수학불안에 관한 연구의 동향을 살펴보고, 그로부터 얻을 수 있는 시사점을 도출하여 향후 과제를 제시하고자 함을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위하여 2005년부터 최근 까지의 ERIC, Sciencedirect.com 등에 보고된 국외 논문들과 국회 도서관 및 한국학술정보원(KERIS)의 학술연구정보서비스 등에 보고된 국내 논문들을 관련 검색어를 사용하여 수집 및 분석하였다. 연구결과 국내에서는 인지신경기법을 활용한 수학불안 연구가 아직까지 이루어지지 않고 있으며, 국외에서는 fMRI와 EEG를 활용하여 두뇌 네트워크를 분석하는 연구가 이루어지고 있는 것을 알 수 있다. 이러한 인지신경기법을 활용한 수학불안 연 구는 정량적이고 객관적이며, 증거기반적인 자료를 제공해 줄 뿐만 아니라 수학불안과 두뇌 영역간의 상관관계를 규명하여 수학불안의 원인 및 신경생리학적 기제를 설명해 줄 수 있으리라 기대된다. 따라서 국내 수학불안 연구에서도 이와 같은 인지신 경기법을 도입하고 활용하여 뇌에 근거한 보다 근원적이고 과학적인 수학불안에 관한 연구가 필요하다.

영문 초록

This study aimed to explore study trends on mathematics in Korea based on literature research, deduce implications, and present future tasks. For this purpose, from various sources including ERIC and Sciencedirect.com, National Assembly Library and Research Information Sharing Service of Korea Education and Research Information Service, domestic and foreign theses and papers were collected and analyzed using related search words. This study found that researches on math anxiety using cognitive neuroscience techniques have not been conducted yet in Korea, while researches to analyse brain networking using fMRI and EEG are conducted in other countries. It is expected that such researches on math anxiety using cognitive neuroscience techniques would provide quantitative, objective, evidence-based data and explain causes and neurophysiological mechanisms of math anxiety by determining correlation between math anxiety and brain regions. Therefore, Korean researchers need to introduce and use cognitive neuroscience techniques for more fundamental and scientific studies on math anxiety, based on human brain.
