국문 초록

이 연구는 복합외상 경험자가 자녀양육 과정에서 경험한 정서적인 어려움을 성찰하고 그 의미를 이해하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 심리 내적인 경험을 내부자적 관점에서 심층적으로 기술할 수 있는 질적연구 방법 중 하나인 자문화기술지 연구 방법으로 연구를 진행하였다. 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위해 정서에 초점을 두고 회상자료, 자기분석일지, 대화 등을 자료로 수집하였다. 자료는 순환적으로 분석되고 해석되어 ‘복합외상 경험의 재연: 무기력함으로 살아가기’, ‘복합외상 경험: 막막함에서 살아남기’, ‘회복의 시작: 따뜻함으로 살아가기’라는 주요한 세 가지 주제를 도출하였다. 연구 결과 첫째, 복합외상 경험자는 자녀와 새로운 관계를 맺을 때 외상 경험을 재연하는 것을 알 수 있었다. 둘째, 복합외상 경험자가 경험한 정서적인 어려움과 심리적인 문제를 알 수 있었다. 셋째, 정서적인 경험의 성찰과 정서의 진정되는 경험을 통해 자녀와의 관계가 회복되어 가는 것을 알 수 있었다. 이 연구는 복합외상 경험자가 자녀양육 과정에서 경험한 정서경험을 심층적으로 분석하고 그 의미를 이해함으로써 상담현장에서 적용할 수 있는 복합외상 지식을 제공한다는 것에 연구의 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to reflect the emotional issues and difficulties experienced by a complex-trauma experiencer during child rearing process and to understand what it means. For this purpose, this study was conducted, using the research method of autoethnogaphy, one of qualitative research methods to describe psychological experiences in depth from an insider point of view. In order to accomplish the purpose of the study, the researcher focused on emotional aspects and collected records of recollection, self-analysis journal, and conversation. The data were analyzed and interpreted to define three topics: Repetition of complex-trauma experience: living in helplessness , Experience of complex-trauma: surviving from the sense of incapability , and Beginning of recovery: living with the touch of warmth . The findings of the study are as follows; first, complex-trauma experiencer continue to replay the traumatic experience when he / she forms a new relationship with their child. Second, the study showed emotional difficulties and psychological problems experienced by a complextrauma experiencer. Third, the researcher’s relationship with the child can be restored through reflection on emotional experiences and experiences of calming down the emotions. The purpose of this study is to provide knowledge on complex-trauma that can be applied in the field of counseling, based on in-depth analysis on the emotional experiences experienced by a complex-trauma experiencer during child rearing process and understanding their meaning.
