영문 초록

Social, technological, and organizational revolutions in corporations have brought about changes in the office environment. Reflecting such changes, office furniture should accomplish functions such as efficiency, comfort, economy, physical safety, and environmental asceticism. Steel, the material which has the capability to fulfill these functions, must be utilized. The purpose of this study is to propose devices which improves the work efficiency. Questionnaires were given to 218 office workers from seven different firms. Thus, this study examined the following: whether the office furniture used by office workers responded to the changes of the office environment and what office workers think of steel furniture. Methods such as frequencies, percentage, means, t-test, and Duncan’s multiple range test have been utilized for the analyses of data.
