영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to analyze the PMV of human thermal comfort index in buildingenvironment. Fanner introduced the Comfort Equation and the Predicted Mean Vote(PMV) as arational thermal environmental index based on the heat balance equations. These indices don’t necessarily satisfy all requirements. Therefore, it is necessary to know their characteristics andlimitation for practical application. This Paper treats investigations on the calculations of heat lossesfrom the human body and on the influence of the difference among the convective heat transfercoefficients upon the solution of the comfort equation and PMV. Moreover, the influence of variousthermal parameters and constants upon the PMV and the calculation method of the human heat loadwere discussed.
