영문 초록

This study has found the unused spaces in every subway stations on Seoul metropolitan subway line 2, based on the definition and judge statement of the unused spaces and type analyzed by its area, shape, location and so analyzed the special characteristics. this study analyzed the usage of the unused spaces to draw the spatial characteristics to suggest an rearrangement of the currently used facilities and rearrangement of the office facilities and ticket gates to effective utilization. By rearranging the facilities that were considered located in an inappropriate space according to this study, such as disturbing the passage, can be moved to a highly used unused space. Horizontally, the ticket gates can be rearranged by the indoor staircase or rearrange the ticket gates individually to reserve more space in front of the ticket gates. Receptional functions which are under the office facility could have a high usage ratio by reorganization
