영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to suggest a model controlling and managing the spatial demand rationally and examine institutional problems by the application of it to practical case study to overcome a situation faced with the process of implementation of academic plan or structural reform plan. This study is focused on the situation of a newly established department of Advanced Energy Material Science & Engineering at C university in 2011 and analyze the data of 2010 downloaded from information system of C university. Three indicators of utilization rate, sharing rate between departments in the same building, occupancy rate of seat in classroom are applied to analyze spatial demand according the situation. These indicators are produced by the cooperation of departments in university headquarters. In the aspects of information technology in university, if these indicators are produced automatically and managed by DBMS, more reliable data will be offered promptly. And it will increase the reliance of demand estimation by developing other indicator supplementally.
