국문 초록

요즈음 투입⋅산출(IO)모형의 두 직⋅간접 투입요구량 사이에서 존재하는 ‘일반적 관계’와 ‘보완된 일반적 관계’의 차이점에 대한 오해가 종종 발생하고 있다. 심상열⋅김윤경(2016)은 “산업연관분석의 중간투입유발에 대한 해석 연구”를 수행하였다. 그러나 이들은 오직 Gim and Kim(1998)만 문제를 삼고 있으며, Gim and Kim(1998) 이후의 다양한 후속 연구에 대해서는 전혀 인용이 되지 않고 있다. 심상열⋅김윤경(2016)이 간과하고 있는 최근의 대표적인 투입⋅산출모형과 관련된 연구 실적은 ① ‘연속적 연결’의 문제, ② ‘보완된 일반적 관계,’ ③ ‘요인별 분해,’ ④ 세 경제변수(최종수요, 총산출, 최종산출) 사이의 상호 의존관계, ⑤ 새로운 산출⋅산출(OO)모형과 최종수요⋅최종산출(FF) 모형의 개발 등에 관한 것이다. 심상열⋅김윤경(2016)에서는 산업연관분석에서 다음과 같이 요약할 수 있는 가장 기본적이며 본질적인 4가지 내용을 전혀 잘못 이해하고 있다. (1) ‘총산출’(gross output)은 언제나 ‘총산출’일 뿐이다. 총산출 개념은 산업연관표에서 총산출(액)=산출(액)과 그 의미가 서로 완전 일치한다. (2) ‘최종수요에 대한 직⋅간접 투입유발(액)’ ？？ 와 ‘산출물(총산출)에 대한 직⋅간접 투입유발(액)’ ？？  는 서로 다른 개념이다. (3) ‘최종수요에 대한 직⋅간접 생산유발(액)’ ？？ 와 ‘산출물에 대한 직⋅간접 생산유발(액)’ ？？  는 상호 그 성격과 의미가 다르다. (4) 두 직⋅간접 투입요구량(？？ 와 ？？  ) 사이에서 ‘일반적 관계’는 부문 사이의 ‘연속적 연결’ 개념이 성립하지 않으며, ‘보완된 일반적 관계’는 ‘연속적 연결’ 의미가 부문 사이에서 성립하는 것이다. 본 연구는 두 직⋅간접 투입요구량 사이에서 발생하는 ‘일반적 관계’와 ‘보완된 일반적 관계’의 차별적인 특성을 분명히 밝히는 것이다. 이를 통하여 심상열⋅김윤경(2016)의 연구를 비판적으로 논평하고자 한다.

영문 초록

Shim and Kim (2016) critically commented on ‘the first general relation’ between two different notions of direct and indirect input requirements (？？ and ？？  ) proposed by Gim and Kim (1998). However, Gim (2015) and Gim and Kim (2005, 2008a, 2008b, 2009), prior to Shim and Kim’s review, verified continuously that the four requirements matrices can be decomposed by factors (？㈘？ ？℃？ ？능？ and ？？) and also proposed ‘the complemented general relation’ on the basis of the correct consecutive connections that must be satisfied among the sectors in the IO model. Through ‘the decomposition by factors’ and ‘the complemented general relation’ developed originally by the authors, we definitely point out that the major misunderstandings of Shim and Kim (2016) can be summarized shortly as follows. (1) The concept of ‘gross output’ in the IO system is always the same as ‘the original meaning of gross output.’ Undoubtedly, the concept of ‘gross output’ is entirely equal to the basic meaning of gross output in the IO model, which is compiled by the principle of general equilibrium theory. (2) Moreover, the equivalent relations cannot exist between the input requirements matrix for final demand ( ？？ ) and the input requirements matrix for (gross) output (？？  ), and between the output requirements matrix for final demand (？？ ) and the output requirements matrix for (gross) output (？？  ). (3) Finally, the general relation between two different notions of direct and indirect input requirements ( ？？ and ？？  ) is not consecutively connected although it has no problem mathematically, whereas the complemented general relation between the two different notions (？？  and ？？  ) is consecutively and mathematically connected between the sectors.
