Image pasting 검사 시 SID에 따른 확대율 평가

국문 초록

목 적 : Whole spine이나 Long bone extremity검사를 위해 사용되어지는 Tube angulated image pasting acquisition 방식에서 SID(Source Image Distance)에 따른 영상의 확대율을 알아보고자 한다. 대상 및 방법 : X-ray 장비는 GE사의 Discovery XR 656 Plus를 사용하였고 실험도구는 지름 4cm의 구형 Phantom을 사용하였다. 실험1) Table center와 35cm 떨어진 곳에 각각 Phantom1, 2를 놓는다. X-Ray 조건은 80kV, 20mAs, 획득된 영상의 총길이는 109cm으로 고정하고, SID 110cm부터 10cm 간격으로 120cm, 130cm, 140cm에서 image pasting 검사를 하였다. 실험2) 실험 1에서 각각의 SID에서 조사된 X-ray의 입사각과 동일하게 SID 110cm부터 10cm 간격으로 120cm, 130cm, 140cm에서 Single exposure를 하였다. 위의 실험을 5회 반복하여 시행하고 Image j 프로그램을 이용하여 실험1), 실험2)의 Phantom1, 2의 면적을 측정하여 평균값을 구하고 확대율을 비교하였다. 결 과 : Table center에 있는 Phantom1의 면적은 SID와 관계없이 1280mm로 동일하여 확대가 없었다. 실험1에서 35cm 떨어진 곳의 Phantom2의 면적은 SID 110cm, 120cm, 130cm, 140cm 에서 각각 1364mm, 1352mm, 1339mm, 1329mm로 나타났고 확대율은 각각 106.5%, 105.6%, 104.6%, 103.8% 으로 측정되었다. 실험2에서 Phantom2의 면적은 SID 110cm, 120cm, 130cm, 140cm에서 각각 1354mm, 1342mm, 1332mm, 1313mm, 확대율은 각각 105.8%, 104.8%, 104.1%, 102.6% 으로 측정되었다. SID가 10cm씩 커질수록 확대율은 6.5%에서 약 0.9%씩 줄어들어 140cm에서는 약 3.8%의 확대율을 보였다. 결 론 : Table image pasting 검사는 Single exposure과 비교했을 때 확대율의 차이가 크지 않았다. 그리고 SID는 높여서 검사하는 것이 좋다.

영문 초록

Purpose : We evaluate the magnification of the image according to the SID(Source Image Distance) in the Tube angulated image pasting acquisition mode to be used for whole spine or long bone extremity examination. Materials and Methods : X-ray equipment was used GE s Discovery XR656 Plus. And experiments were used spherical phantoms with a diameter of 4cm. Experiment 1) We have located the Phantom 1, 2 each in the table center and the 35cm away. X-Ray condition was 80kV, 20 mAs . Length of the obtained image was fixed by 109cm. Since SID 110cm by 10cm spacing 120cm, 130cm, 140cm in the image pasting was examined. Experiment 2) In Experiment 1, we obtained an angle of incidence of the X-ray irradiation at each SID. The same as the one obtained from the angle of incidence at SID 110cm, 120cm, 130cm, 140cm was the Single exposure. Experiment was performed by repeating the above for 5 times. Experiment 1), by measuring the area of the Phantom1, 2 of Experiment 2) to obtain the average value by using the program Image j. and the magnification rate was compared. Result : The area of Phantom 1 seemed to 1280mm, regardless of the SID. There was no expansion. In experiment 1, the area of the Phantom 2 was at SID 110cm, 120cm, 130cm, 140cm, respectively 1364mm, 1352mm, 1339mm, 1329mm. and magnification rate was measured as 106.5%, 105.6%, 104.6%, 103.8%, respectively. In experiment 2, the area of the Phantom 2 was at SID 110cm, 120cm, 130cm, 140cm, respectively 1354mm, 1342mm, 1332mm, 1313mm. and magnification was measured as 105.8%, 104.8%, 104.1%, 102.6%, respectively. The SID will increase by 10cm, the magnification is decreased by approximately 0.9% from 6.5%. In 140cm, it showed a magnification of about 3.8%. Conclusion : Magnification was not great when compared with single exposure. and The higher SID is the better.
