영문 초록

This study aims to reveal the states of Halal industries and certifications in South Korea. In particular, this study tries to collect the lists of domestic companies and Halal products and presents them to other companies which are interested in Halal exports and imports, hoping that this could be the basic materials or the examples in the relevant future studies. This study also emphasizes the strengthening of foundation of domestic Halal certifications. Almost all domestic companies are authenticated by KMF(Korean Muslim Federation), but KMF is not widely recognized in the international society, which leads to let the companies face the difficulties for the expansion of exports. To settle this problems South Korea needs to cooperate with the advanced Halal countries such as JAKIM, MUIS, and ESMA.
