국문 초록

호스피스 환자와 보호자에 대해 여러 가지 심리치료 중 미술치료를 통하여 죽음이 다가오는 힘든 시간 속에서 환자와 보호자의 마음을 편안하게 하고 서로에 대해 용서하고 화해할 수 있도록 도움을 주는 연구가 계속 증가하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 호스피스 환자와 보호자에게 반드시 심리 상담이나 치료적 개입을 필요로 하는 것은 아니지만 많은 암환자와 보호자가 죽음에 대한 불안, 예견된 상실, 간병에 대한 부담감, 소진 등에 보고하고 있는 것에 대해 알아보았다. 그리고, 호스피스 환자와 보호자들이 미술치료를 통해 얻게 되는 의미와 역할에 대해 알아보고 미술치료 경험을 한 환자와 보호자들에 대한 연구를 소개하였다. 이어서 호스피스 환자, 보호자와 미술치료와의 상관성에 대한 연구결과를 토대로 하여 환자와 보호자의 심리적 변화와 치료의 효과에 대하여 고찰하였다. 끝으로 호스피스 환자와 보호자에 대한 국내 미술치료 연구의 활성화를 위해서 몇 가지 제안을 하였다.

영문 초록

The number of studies on hospice patients and their caregivers has been increasesing, that help to comfort the minds of patients and caregivers, to forgive and reconcile each other in the difficult times of death through art therapy during various psychotherapy treatments. Although this study does not necessarily require psychological counseling or therapeutic intervention for hospice patients and their caregivers. However, many cancer patients and their caregivers report death anxiety, predicted loss, burden of care, exhaustion and so on. In this study, the meaning and role of hospice patients and their caregivers through art therapy, were investigated and the research on patients and caregivers who experienced art therapy was introduced. Based on the results of the research on the relationship between hospice patients and caregivers and art therapy, the psychological changes and the effects of treatment were examined. Finally, some suggestions were made to revitalize research on domestic art therapy for hospice patients and caregivers.
