자기통제와 부모학대가 청소년비행에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

이 연구는 일반이론에서 제시된 자기통제력과 부모학대가 청소년 비행에 미치는 영향을 잠재성장모형을 통해 분석하고자 했다. 분석을 위해 한국청소년정책연구원의 한국아동청소년패널 자료의 중1패널을 활용하였다. 데이터 문항이 상이한 이유로 3차(2012) 년도, 4차(2013) 년도, 6차(2015) 년도의 자료를 최종 분석 하였다. 분석을 위한 모형으로 자기통제력과 청소년 비행 사이의 부모학대매개모형과 부모 학대와 청소년 비행 사이의 자기통제력 매개모형 두 가지로 구분하여 분석 하였다. 분석에 앞서 각 변수의 변화량을 확인 한 결과 자기통제와 부모학대는 초기값 보다 점점 자기통제력이 낮아지고 부모학대가 높아지는 것을 확인 할 수 있었다. 하지만 청소년비행의 초기값과 변화율을 확인 한 결과 학년이 높아질수록 감소하는 것으로 보였다. 분석 결과 기존 연구와 마찬가지로 초기 자기통제력과 부모학대는 청소년 비행에 유의미한 영향을 주었지만 변화량은 청소년 비행에 영향을 주지 않는 것으로 확인 되었다. 최종 자기통제력이 부모학대와 청소년비행 사이의 매개변수로서 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 검증 한 결과 완전매개로서 유의미한 변수임을 확인 할 수 있었다.

영문 초록

This present aims at analyzing the effects of self-control and parental abuse on juvenile delinquency through latent growth models(LGM). Gottfredson & Hirschi(1990) argued that low level of self-control is highly associated with undesirable behavior and victimization experience which indicate delinquence and parental abuse experience. Korean Youth Panel data of National Youth Policy Institute was used for analysis. The data reorganized the original data sets by selecting third (2012), fourth (2013), and sixth (2015) years. By using the three years data sets, the current study can utilize numerous variables that are related with the components of general theory of crime. For the analysis, this study suggested (1) the parent abuse model and (2) the self-control mediation model. Results confirmed that self-control and parental abuse were slightly increased from the initial values. However, juvenile delinquency was decreased through the three years data. In summary, self-control and parental abuse had a significant effect on juvenile delinquency. Moreover, it is found that there is a perfect mediating factor between parental abuse and juvenile delinquency. Further policy implications will be discussed.
