의과대학 학생들의 입학전형별 GPA, 유급, 의사면허시험합격률 비교

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 입학전형별로 의과대학생들의 GPA, 유급, 의사면허시험합격률을 비교하는데 있다. 연구대상은 2010년부터 2016년까지 7년간 S의과대학에 입학한 680명의 학 생이다. 연구결과 입학전형별로 GPA, 유급, 의사면허시험합격률에 차이를 보였다. GPA는 수시로 입학한 학생이 정시 입학생보다 통계적으로 유의하게 높았다. 생존분석결과 유급 없이 졸업할 생존비율은 전체적으로 91.3%이며, 전형별로 수능전형은 89.2%, 학생부교과 전형은 94.6%, 학생부종합전형은 88.0%, 고른기회전형은 100%, 특기자전형은 66.7%였다. 검증결과 수능전형은 교과전형과, 특기자전형은 학생부교과전형, 학생부종합전형과 통계 적으로 유의한 차이를 보였다. 유급과 의사면허시험 합격여부를 함께 고려했을 때 전체 적으로 생존비율은 낮아졌고, 입학전형별 차이는 줄어들었다. 이는 GPA와 의사면허시험 은 측정하는 영역에 차이가 있음을 확인할 수 있었다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to compare GPA scores, dropout rate, and passing rates for the license examination according to admission types. The study subjects were 680 students enrolled at S medical schools for seven years from 2010 to 2016. There was a statistically difference in GPA scores and dropout rate among the admission types. The high score group of GPA was students enrolled with the high school activities and CSAT scores. The highest dropout rate group was students enrolled by CSAT score only. According to the survival analysis, the overall survival estimate of the graduation without dropout was 91.3%. According to the admission types, the survival estimates of the KSAT group, the KSAT and CSAT group, and the CSAT group were 89.2%, 94.6%, and 88.0%, respectively. There was a statistically difference between the groups. Analyzing the survival rate considering both dropouts and passing the licensure examination, there was no statistically significant difference. Considering both dropout rate with passing the license examination together, the overall survival rate was decreased, and the gaps between admission types were reduced.
