국문 초록

본 연구는 인공지능이 일반화된 이후 자본의 축적체제에 대해 이론적으로 검토하려 한다. 맑스가 제시한 자본의 유기적 구성의 증가라는 축적법칙은 인공지능 이후 ‘노동 없는 생산’을 향해 가속화될 것이며, 이윤율 또한 ‘이윤 없는 생산’을 향해 저하할 것이다. 인공지능은 노동과 더불어 생산의 한계비용 또한 현저히 감소시키지만 이것이 이윤 없는 생산으로 이어지는 것을 저지하기 위해 지대형태의 이윤을 일반화할 것이다. 그러나 ‘노동의 소멸’로 인해 야기될 대중적 소득의 절대적 감소는, 생산비용 감소로 급증하게 될 상품의 실현 문제를 새로운 차원에서 야기할 것이다. 본 연구는 이에 대한 상반되는 두 가지 축적전략이 두 개의 극으로 존재함으로 보여주고, 축적체제의 역사적 경향에 대해 검토함으로써 인공지능 이후 새로이 출현할 축적체제를 구성하게 될 핵심적인 요인들이 무엇인지를 추출하고자 한다.

영문 초록

This study attempts to theoretically examine the accumulation regime of capital after the generalization of artificial intelligence. The accumulation law of the increase of the organic composition of capital proposed by Marx will be accelerated toward ‘production without labour’ after artificial intelligence, and the profit rate will also decrease toward ‘production without profit’. Although artificial intelligence will decrease marginal cost of production as well as human labor, it will generalize a profit, which has a form of a rent, to prevent a production without profits. However, a reduction of people’s income, which will stem from ‘the disappearance of work’, will block realization of commodities’ value, whereas production of commodities increase rapidly with a decrease of production costs. This research shows two antagonistic accumulation strategies dealing with this dilemma as two poles and proposes essential elements which will consist of a future accumulation regime after a generalization of artificial intelligence by examining the historical tendency of an accumulation regime.
