국문 초록

본 연구는 기술이전·사업화 촉진 계획에 따른 정부의 기술개발지원제도 효용성이 중소기업의 기술사업화 성과 및 경영성과에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지, 그리고 중소기업의 기술사업화 성과도 경영성과에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 실증적으로 분석하고자 하였다. 따라서 본 연구를 실시하기 위해 서울과 경기, 그리고 그 외 지역 등 한국에 위치한 중소기업(621개)을 대상으로 2016년 6월부터 2016년 9월까지 약 4개월에 걸쳐 설문 수집을 실시하였고, 수집된 데이터를 바탕으로 위계적 회귀분석을 실시하였으며, 그 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 정부의 기술개발지원제도 효용성이 중소기업의 기술사업화 성과에 통계적으로 유의한 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 정부의 기술개발지원제도 효용성이 중소기업의 경영성과에 통계적으로 유의한 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 중소기업의 기술사업화 성과는 경영성과에 통계적으로 유의한 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 종합하면, 이러한 결과는 정부의 기술개발지원제도 효용성이 높을수록 중소기업의 기술사업화 성과와 경영성과가 향상(상승)될 수 있음을 의미한다.

영문 초록

The Korean government has developed an R&D support system to facilitate the transfer and commercialization of technology. This study empirically analyzes the impact and effectiveness of this system in terms of SME technology commercialization and business performance, as well as the effect of SMEs’ technology commercialization on their business performance. We conduct a survey of 621 Korean SMEs located in Seoul, Gyeonggi, and other areas, for the four months from June to September 2016, and perform a hierarchical regression analysis on the collected data. The results of the analysis are as follows. First, the government R&D support system has a statistically significant positive effect on the success of SME technology commercialization. Second, the support system also has a statistically significant positive effect on SME business performance. Third, SMEs’ technology commercialization has a statistically significant positive effect on their business performance. Taken together, the results indicate that an effective government R&D support system can improve both the technology commercialization and the business performance of SMEs.
