국문 초록

전통문화 예술과 관련된 다양한 기록물 자료들을 장기적으로 보존하고 활용하기 위한 방안을 제시하였다. 기록물의 보존과 활용 둘 다가 가능한 방안으로 디지털화를 제시하였으며, 디지털화의 목적, 고려사항, 처리절차, 품질관리 등에 대해 검토하였다. 특히 국가기록원의 종이기록물, 시청각기록물에 대한 디지털화 사례를 소개하여 국악 관련 자료의 디지털화 추진시 실무적인 도움을 주고자 하였다. 또한 전자적으로 생산된 국악 관련 자료의 보존방안으로 OAIS 참조모델, 메타데이터, 보존포맷, 백업 및 복구, 장기저장매체, 보존환경 등에 대해 원론적 차원에서 방향을 검토하였다. 이러한 검토 내용들이 부족하지만 앞으로 전통문화예술 기록물 분야에 아카이브 또는 디지털 아카이브에 대한 본격적인 논의의 출발점이 되었으면 한다.

영문 초록

We showed the method of the long term preservation and the utilization of various archival records which related traditional art and culture. One solution is the digitation which can be possible both the preservation and the utilization of the archival records, and it also is evaluated in terms of the goal, the possible consideration, the procedure, and quality control of the digitization. Especially, we here tried to help practically in the digitization of the records of Korean traditional music by introducing the case of the paper records and video and audio records in the National Archival Adminstration and Service. As the preservation method for the electronically produced records of the Korean traditional music, we also investigated fundamentally the OAIS model, meta data, the format of preservation, back-up and restoration of data, long-term recording media, and preservation environments. We know that our discussion is not enough, but we think it might be the cornerstone in the future study of the archive or digital archive in the traditional art and culture.
