일본의 초ㆍ중학교 주생활 학습내용 분석을 통한 새로운 관점 도출

국문 초록

이 연구는 일본의 2008년 고시 학습지도요령에 의한 초 ․ 중학교 가정교과서 주생활 영역의 학습내용을 분석하였으며 연구 결과와 시사점은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 초등학교 교과서의 주생활 영역은 ‘정리 ․ 정돈’, ‘청소와 쓰레기 처리, 재활용’, ‘쾌적한 여름’, ‘따뜻한 겨울’의 4개 학습내용을 다루어 다양하고 많았으며 온도계나 조도계 등을 활용한 체험적인 활동이 포함되는 특징이 있다. 우리의 초등 실과는 제한된 시수 안에서 가정영역과 기술영역을 둘 다를 교육하는 상황이므로 학습내용에 제한이 있다. 교육과정이나 교과서 개발 시는 이러한 측면과 녹색생활 교육이 더욱 강화되는 국가 사회적 요구를 반영하여 주거공간의 냉 ․ 난방과 관련하여 자연환경을 활용하고 에너지를 절약하는 내용이 포함되어야 할 것으로 본다. 또한 내용 이해를 촉진시키고 실생활에서의 실천 능력을 높이기 위해서 온도계 등의 측정기기를 활용하여 흥미롭게 체험할 수 있는 활동자료 필요성의 시사점을 얻었다. 둘째, 중학교 교과서 주생활 영역의 특징은 ‘주거의 기능’, ‘가족과 주거’, ‘안전한 주거’, ‘쾌적한 주거’의 4개 내용을 선택적으로 집중하여 다루는 한편 실내공기 측정이나 소음 측정과 같은 실습과 조사 등의 실천적 ․ 체험적 활동을 포함시키고 있다. 우리의 교육 현실을 감안하고 국가 사회적 요구를 반영하여 중학교 교육과정이나 교과서 개발 시 주생활 영역에 고려되거나 강화되어야 하는 내용은 저출산 ․ 고령화 사회를 대비한 주거교육 내용과 실천력을 높일 수 있는 녹색 주생활 교육 내용이라고 본다. 유아와 노인의 안전한 주생활을 위한 내용은 저출산 ․ 고령화 사회에 기여할 수 있으며, 학교의 여러 장소나 교실의 이산화탄소 등을 측정해보는 체험적학습은 친환경적 실내공간에 대한 이해를 높여 실생활에서의 실천 능력을 강화시킬 수 있을 것이므로 이러한 측면을 고려한 내용 구성이 요망된다.

영문 초록

This research analyzes contents of the ‘Housing Unit’ of home economics texts books in elementary and middle school by Japanese 2008 revised curriculum. The research result and the implications are as follows. First, the housing unit of elementary school discussed four education contents: arranging and organizing, disposing garbage and recycling, pleasant summer, and warm winter. These units focus on developing students’ ability to be capable of 1) arrange and organize their personal space, 2) live eco-friendly by cleaning up and recycling, and 3) spend pleasant summer and winter by saving energy. Activity references such as measurement of temperature, humidity and illuminance can strengthen the understanding of indoor environment and practice. Therefore it is suggested that the needs for revision of the quantity and quality of the housing unit and sufficient activity materials that can intrigue elementary level students while developing Practical arts textbooks for elementary students. Second, the housing unit of Japanese middle school lacked in educational contents compared to Korean 2007 revised curriculum. The main contents focused on 1) being familiar to the function of residence, 2) thinking the residing means that best suits the family lifestyle, 3) leading safe and pleasant dwelling life, and 4) raising ability to studying the dwelling habit matching his or her lifestyle. The lifestyle independence checklist which appears in the introduction of chapter is worth referring due to the fact that it connects the educational contents of elementary and middle school. Also the contents concerning traditional culture and disaster preparation is strengthened, thus well reflecting the national and social needs of Japan. The activity materials that deals with measuring the carbon dioxide concentration and noise pollution level in classrooms is evaluated in that it can help intensifying the understanding of the class contents and actual practice in real life. Contents organization that can accurately assess and reflect our national and social needs and intensify the intelligibility of the lecture contents is needed while developing the home economics textbooks and curriculum for middle school.
