실과 ‘손바느질하기’ 단원의 협동적 문제 해결 학습이 자기 주도적 학습 능력에 미치는 효과

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 실과 ‘손바느질하기’ 단원의 협동적 문제 해결 학습이 자기 주도적 학습 능력에 미치는 효과를 검증하는 데 있다. 이를 위하여 인천시에 위치한 B초등학교 5학년 2개 반을 실험집단과 비교집단으로 구분하고, 약 7주 동안 실험집단에는 협동적 문제 해결 학습을, 비교집단에는 강의식 개별학습을 적용하였다. 본 연구는 전후-좌우 비교형 연구 설계방법으로 설계하였다. 자료는 SPSSWIN14.0 통계 패키지로 t-test를 실시하였으며 유의 수준은 .05로 설정하였다. 또한 피험자의 심층적 행동을 보다 자세하게 분석하기 위하여 교사의 현장관찰기록과 학습자의 포트폴리오 분석과 같은 정성적분석도 실시하였다. 이 연구를 통하여 얻어진 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 협동적 문제 해결 학습을 적용한 실험집단과 비교집단의 자기 주도적 학습 능력을 검증한 결과5% 수준에서 의미 있는 차이가 나타나 협동적 문제 해결 학습이 비교집단보다 실험집단의 자기 주도적 학습 능력 향상에 긍정적인 효과를 미친다는 것이 검증되었다. 둘째, 협동적 문제 해결 학습을 적용한 실험집단의 전후 자기 주도적 학습 능력을 검증한 결과 5%수준에서 의미 있는 차이가 나타나 협동적 문제 해결 학습을 적용한 후가 실험집단의 자기 주도적 학습 능력 향상에 긍정적인 효과를 미친다는 것이 검증되었다. 셋째, 협동적 문제 해결 학습을 적용한 실험집단의 정성적 분석 결과를 종합하면 자기 주도적 학습에 대한 인식 변화와 그로 인한 행동 변화에 미치는 긍정적인 효과를 확인할 수 있었다. 이상과 같은 결과를 통해 실과 ‘손바느질하기’ 단원의 협동적 문제 해결 학습이 강의식 개별 학습보다 자기 주도적 학습 능력에 효과적이었음을 알 수 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to verify an effect of the cooperative problem-solving learning on self-directed learning ability for Hand Sewing class at practical arts education. To achieve this purpose, two 5th-grade classes were selected in B Elementary School located in In-cheon city as an experimental group and a control group. For 7 weeks, the experimental group was taught the new teaching method with the cooperative problem-solving learning while the control group was taught with the individual learning. For the test design method, a before & after-left & right comparative type has been used by t-test using SPSSWIN 14.0 program fixing the level of significance to .05. Also, to analyze the in-depth actions of the tests more specifically, a qualitative analysis such as the on-site observation record of teachers and portfolio analysis of students has been conducted. The results of this research are as below. First, the result of verification of left & right it has been verified that the cooperative problem-solving learning has more positive effect in self-directed learning ability on an experimental group than a control group. Second, the result of verification of control- & experimental group it has been verified that after the application of the cooperative problem-solving learning shows a positive effect on self-directed learning ability of an experimental group. Third, the result of qualitative analysis shows that there were positive changes in the students point of view and behavior toward self-directed learning ability. Accordingly, the application of the cooperative problem-solving learning was more effective than the individual learning on self-directed learning ability at Hand Sewing class in practical arts education.
