초등교사의 인식을 기반으로 한 2007 개정 실과 교육과정에 대한 평가

국문 초록

이 연구는 2007년에 고시된 개정 실과 교육과정에 대한 초등교사의 인식을 알아보고 이를 바탕으로 개정 실과교육과정을 평가하고 개정된 교육과정을 바르게 수행하기 위한 방안을 제시하는데 목적이 있었다. 이 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위하여 초등교사를 연구대상으로 한 조사연구를 수행하였다. 이 연구의 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 초등교사들은 2007 개정 실과교육과정의 개정 내용에 대해 높지는 않으나 대체적으로 긍정적이라고 평가하였다. 둘째, 2007 개정 실과교육과정 중 ‘“간단한 생활 용품 만들기”, “재봉틀 다루기” 단원의 통합’, 전기전자 단원의 5학년에서 6학년 이동’, 그리고 ‘컴퓨터 관련 단원 내용의 수정’이 가장 긍정적인 평가를 받았다. 셋째, 2007 개정 실과교육과정의 내용 중 ‘“목제품 만들기” 단원의 6학년에서 5학년으로 이동’, ‘“아름다운 환경 가꾸기” 단원 일부 삭제’, 그리고 ‘“용돈 관리하기” 단원 축소 및 합병’이 가장 부정적인평가를 받았다. 넷째, 초등교사들은 금번 교육과정의 개정이 ‘교수 및 교사 등 교육 전문가 등의 의견이 많이 반영된전문가 중심’으로 이루어졌다고 인식하고 있었다. 다섯째, 초등교사들은 교육과정의 개정과 공청회에 대한 정보를 받고자 하는 반면 2007년에 이루어진 교육과정의 개정 및 공청회에 대한 정보를 사전에 충분하게 받지 못한 것으로 판단하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of the study was to identify the perception of elementary school teachers toward the revised contents of the 2007 Revised Practical Arts Curriculum, to evaluate the revised contents of the 2007 Revised Practical Arts Curriculum, and to investigate the tactics for properly executing the 2007 Revised Practical Arts Curriculum. To achieve the purpose of the study, the descriptive method with using questionnaire was utilized. The conclusions derived from this study were as follows. First, the moderately positive evaluation result was made for overall evaluation result on the revised contents of the 2007 Revised Practical Arts Curriculum. Second, integrating the making simple living supplies and the handling the sawing machine , moving electronic related contents from 5th to 6th grade , and altering the contents of computer related chapters received the most positive evaluation result from teachers. Third, moving wooden work from 6th to 5th grade , deleting part of take care of beautiful environment , and reducing and merging managing allowance received the most negative evaluation result from teachers. Forth, teachers perceived that the 2007 Revised Practical Arts Curriculum was revised based on the opinion of education experts including professors and teachers. Fifth, teachers wanted to eagerly participate the process of revising national curriculum including attending the public hearing for the 2007 Revised Practical Arts Curriculum. However, teachers did not get any kind of information about it.
