원예교육 프로그램이 농업계 고등학생들의 정서행동에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 원예교육 프로그램이 농업계 고등학교 학생들의 정서행동에 어떤 영향을 미치는지를 알아보는 데 있으며, 연구대상은 강원도 원주시에 위치한 Y 농업계 고등학교에서 실험군 15명, 대조군 15명을 대상으로 프로그램을 실시하였다. 선정된 학생들은 2008년 9월부터 12주간 방과 후 수업으로 연구에 참여하도록 하였다. 자료처리는 SPSS(Statistical Package for the Social Science) WIN 15.0프로그램을 이용하여 분석하였다. 집단 간 동질성을 검증하기 위해서 원예교육 프로그램을 실시하기 전 심리적 안녕감 및 학교생활 적응행동에 사전 검사를 t검정을 통하여 알아보았고, 원예교육 프로그램이 농업계 고등학생들의 심리적 안녕감 및 학교생활 적응행동에 미치는 영향을 검증하기 위해 공분산분석(analysis of covariance)을 실시하였다. 이 연구로부터 나타난 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 원예교육 프로그램이 농업계 고등학생들의 심리적 안녕감에 긍정적인 영향을 미친다. 둘째, 원예교육 프로그램이 농업계 고등학생들의 학교생활 적응행동에 긍정적인 영향을 미친다. 연구 결과를 종합적으로 살펴볼 때, 원예교육 프로그램을 적용한 농업계 고등학생들에게 정서적 행동에 변화가 나타남을 알 수 있었다. 이와 같이 원예교육 프로그램이 농업계 고등학생들의 정서행동에 긍정적인 효과를 나타냄으로써 본 프로그램에 대한 새로운 인식이 필요하며 본 프로그램의 적용 대상을 폭넓게 적용하여 초·중등학생들의 감성 지능의 향상과 정서행동의 변화에 대한 본 프로그램의 적용 연구가 기대된다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects on a horticultural education program for some emotional behavior of agricultural high school students. The experiment group, composed 15 students, attended a class based on horticultural education program for 12 weeks, while the control group, composed of 15 students, received a general high school curriculum class in agricultural high school. The data was analysed covariance of experiment group and control group by SPSS. The results of this study were as follows. First, the horticultural education program had a significant effect of psychological well-being in agricultural high school students. On the starting stage, students were only interested in horticultural activities. As time goes by they asked questions about horticultural education program or related their experiences to some activities. It made the students perform positively and showed a positive effect of psychological well-being. Second, the horticultural education program resulted a significant effect of school adjustment behavior. That is, the horticultural education program had the positive effect on the improvement of academic adjustment behavior, social adjustment behavior and affective behavior of students. These results imply that horticultural education program enhances psychological well-being and school adjustment behavior.
